Planet Rose Karaoke Bar

Start with the $10 cover charge, that’s fine honestly pretty fair then they charge you $2 to sing. Okay that’s also fair. However after waiting almost 2 hours to for my song to be called I find out they have been skipping me letting the same guy sing all night long. How can this be possible you ask? It’s also pay to skip. There’s a sign the DJ took out to show us after that he was just “following the rules” well honestly that’s where I draw the line. It ruins the vibe takes out all the fun and brings out a burning rage I have never felt in my entire life. It’s been a week and I’m still more mad than I’ve ever been. The pure audacity skipping me and skipping and skipping some more, watching him move my name down on the list because I refused to play this game. This is not the law of karaoke, this goes against everything karaoke stand stands for. Don’t waste your time at planet rose it’s honestly a truly awful place. First 1 star review I’ve ever had to leave.

Don’t come here, there was this guy who just kept paying $100 to skip the karoke line and the bar just kept letting him go on repeat. Nobody else who paid was able to sing. Simply disgusting policy, wasted 2 hours of our time and regret getting a lot drinks here.

Unless you’re a regular or want to drop big bucks to skip the line, don’t bother. I was there 2 hours and 7 people sang twice before I even sang once. I gave up and left.

Stopped by on Saturday and had a blast. DJ Chris and the team did an amazing job taking care of everyone. I love going there everytime I go to AC. Congrats on 20 years Planet Rose

Me and my daughter were staying at the Tropicana for my birthday and we came to Planet Rose for the karaoke. We had a great time, the service and the atmosphere were great and I even got a birthday shout out and a balloon!!!!

I was SUPER skeptical because of bad reviews, but I had an AMAZING time on my bachelor party with some friends. In the private room, on a Sunday. Give it a try! Ross was THE MAN

My friends and I wanted to do karaoke and were fortunate enough to stumble upon this place. The cover was way cheaper than everywhere else around and all the staff were so kind. My friend lost her wallet, and Bobby went above and beyond to get it back to her the next day. The vibes and atmosphere were amazing, everyone was super friendly, the drinks were delicious, and karaoke was a blast. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

I had a great time at Planet Rose. Wonderful bartenders, good drinks at a comparable price to other bars/clubs in AC, and only a $5 cover. Karaoke songs are $2–free would be nice but realistically unlikely to find that in AC. The atmosphere and vibes were excellent!

This place is great and fun! It was my first karaoke bar experience and me and the gals had a blast. I even lost my wallet at some point in the night and the owners were kind enough to reach out the next day so I can get it back. I will def be coming back and suggest you stop by here if you are in the area and looking for a fun time with your family or friends.

I absolutely recommend this karaoke bar. There was a $5 cover and a charge of $2 a song for karaoke. It’s expected to have to pay for karaoke in a city/beach town and I felt this was reasonable in comparison to other places in the Tropicana with $20-$25 covers. Wonderful bartenders and a great atmosphere. Good drinks!

Lyft over to Tropicana to karaoke. Paid $10 cover to get in $25 for drinks for 2 with $5 tip. Then went to sign up for karaoke and they charge $2 a song. Would have been nice to know at the door! I’m just lifting back to the room. No thank you NJ!

Absolutely love this place! Spent a few nights at the Tropicana, and came here most of them. Planet Rose is one of the few night life activities that are open during the week, which is nice because it gives you something fun to do. If you're looking for maximized fun, I would recommend going after 11pm, that is when it becomes busier and more fun. The cover charge was about $5 to get in and it is $2 dollars to sing a song, extra if you want pushed ahead of others. Music really varies dependent on the people who are in there.The drinks were reasonably priced compared to other bars in the Tropicana, ranging from the $10 to $13 price range. Staff was also super friendly and fun to talk to. 10/10 would recommend and will be visiting again!

Do not go. They do not reserve and they when they finally do they cancel it. Very unprofessional, take days to email back for a reservation.
