My friends and I ate lunch here. We all tried a passion fruit juice which was so tasty. I had the mofongo with shrimp in garlic sauce, and it was fabulous! The fried sweet plantains were perfectly prepared. My friends had rhe empanadas and quesadilla, which they enjoyed.

It was a great food took a bit longer because they prepare on the spot and get lots of orders from grub hub etc. When the food is good you know it be like this. Great portions too.
My husband ordered yellow rice , ribs so juicy (fall off the bone) and a side of extra beans,I ordered white rice, pink beans, breaded chicken and a side of plantains.
We returned the next day for 2 cuban sandwiches delishes food, a lemon aid and a tamarind smoothie.
Awesome service from Samil and Jomar too!
Can not forget the excellent cooks !
I highly recommend it!

Every time my son and I visit the Jersey Shore, we eat here. Best Dominican Food In New Jersey, Let alone the Jersey Shore. Great Portions, really sweet people, and a nice vibe. There's an ice cream spot next door for my son. The food was so good I almost cried. The only problem is it took a while to get the food, but once it arrived, omg.

70 minutes. 10 minutes to get waited on. Had to get my own place setting. Drink took 30 minutes. Food was good. Dining room was at less than 1/2 capacity.
My advice to you (business owner) is to close your dining room and just run take out. Maybe do a food truck. Because you're not interested in serving seated customers in your dining room.
50, more than 50 people came in and got their to go orders before I got my food. Its obvious you prioritize the to go trade. And I get it, no table to clean, no dishes to bus. BTW the table next to me went without being bussed for 30 minutes. Not exactly a sense of urgency where a clean appearance concerns your staff.
Close your dining room and your profits will improve.
Im disappointed, not coming back
The Mexican place down the street has attentive service and a concern for the customer.

How long do we have to wait for our food? The joint isn’t busy but I’m sure there’s plenty of takeout orders…damn take care of your customers who are dining inside. Waited longer than 30 mins for our food.

Used to order from here all the time. I can’t say the food isn’t good, because it is. It’s the customer service that sucks! If you call to place an order, and can’t speak Spanish, forget it! You’ll just be placed on hold until you give up smh

I had the pleasure of dining at this Dominican restaurant and I can honestly say—what a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed like family. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, with music that sets the perfect mood.

The food? Absolutely incredible. The mangu with los tres golpes was perfectly seasoned and comforting, and the pollo guisado was tender and full of rich, traditional flavor. You can really taste the love in every bite. And don’t even get me started on the mofongo—easily one of the best I’ve ever had!

The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff truly made the experience even better. Whether you’re Dominican or just love great Caribbean food, this spot is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Highly recommended!

Located on 3901 Ventnor Ave in Atlantic City is Sabor Latino AC. Parking, well, find the best spot available and you may have to walk. First look, a lot of people picking up their food, sitting and eat, music playing, atmosphere was great. If you’re looking for a restaurant with air conditioning, this ain’t the place. The menu is full of great choices! If you speak Spanish or have google translate out to help with your ordering that will help! We did order empanadas, but the waitress missed it.

Food time! I got the birria tacos (I swear I should name this page, looking for best birria around) and they were great. They had their own flare of spices to it, some sweetness of cinnamon and all spice. It was crispy on the outside, cheese was perfectly melted, meat was super moist and tasty. The verde sauce was amazing. All around a great meal. My wife got the chicharon mofongo, and it was also good. Smashed plantains in a cup seasoned, and super crispy chicharon. The chicharon could’ve been cooked a little less but it was still good. There was this white gravy sauce with the chicharon, I don’t know what it was but it was great dipping the meat and mofongo in it!

This place a great hidden gem if you’re in the area for something different. My wife and I both agreed, we didn’t hate it, but didn’t leave with the craving of I wanna come back and try it again.

A truly special place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a quiet meal. The food is absolutely delicious, and it really tastes like Dominican food. People are very kind and helpful, especially Yunis. Highly recommended restaurant! 😁

En español te lo resumo: Definitivamente es un grandioso lugar o como diríamos en RD, el sitio es un palo. 🤩💯

Walked in to get a to-go order. Order placed and waited over 1/2hr. For a mofongo with chicken, seems like the server was only interested in the men that walked in, she took care of each one of them first and we arrived before each of them. The Chicken was salty and the mofongo was super dry. Never again, no manners, this is not DR.
