Moments at Scannicchios is the best spot in AC for a delicious meal, amazing drinks, and entertainment! My husband hosted my 40th birthday there and the service was exceptional!!! Scott, Tommy and the crew really know how to make their customers feel like family and have a good time! I can’t wait to watch games, eat, drink and party next week when the new side opens! 100 💯 recommend everyone try it out!!!

My Sister Connie, my Cousin Lisa and I went to Scannuchios for my Sisters birthday dinner on Thursday, August 21st the day of hurricane Erin. The streets started to fill up with water and we didn’t think anything about it. The hurricane flooded the streets and restaurant so bad it was almost up to the seat of my chair. We stayed and finished our dinner hoping that the low tide would take the water out. Well it didn’t but we stayed until 9:30 hoping? The staff; the Bartender Robby, the Waitresses Eve and Mareli, the Manager Harold, the Concierge Frankie and their neighbor Ty who played a big piece of the puzzle, never missed a beat. The neighbor Ty let us know about our cars if they were park in the wrong parking spot and let us know about the water height and the concerns for our cars. The servers carried on serving us like nothing was wrong and made sure we were ok. I was concerned for them immensely. The staff carried on normally and I give them the highest kudos. Thank you all so very much in making my sisters birthday dinner a success. We walked two blocks left of the restaurant to higher ground and we laughed about the whole experience.

I was there with family at the AC location the week of July 4th. I'm glad I made the reservation over a week ahead because the place was jammed. Now when I say jammed I mean jammed! The bar/restaurant is about 30 feet wide by may 75 feet long. A full bar on one side and tables on the other wall with a tight lane for servers and patrons. I'm not a fan of overly crowded, somewhat loud restaurants. The food was delicious though. I'm a veal fan so I had my usual. Large portion, tender and a wonderfully balance marinara. The rest of the family had salmon and raved about how good it was. The service was just okay, mainly because there were only two servers for 10 4-tops. I'd recommend it, but don't expect a quiet, romantic meal. This is a boisterous restaurant with excellent food.

The food was okay, I unfortunately got sick afterwards - I got the chicken fettuccine which had a dried fruit that was extremely bitter and disgusting. The owner was incredibly nice and the staff was exceptional. We were the last to be seated but the first to receive food.
What wasn’t understood was 2 different checks for food and drink.

One of the worst meals I’ve had in my life.They are a disgrace and a huge disservice to the Scannicchio’s name and restaurant in South Philly.
Restaurant was crammed and noisy with a cover singer.
Service was abysmally slow and the Veal Saltimbocca was salty,Chicken Sicilian was all onions and no cherry peppers and no green olives, and Chicken Cacciatore was flat pieces of chicken.
Pasta was served under the entrees and heavily drenched and soggy.
The red sauce was too acidic and made me sick on the way home and had a burnt taste to it.
Nobody in our party came close to finishing our entrees and after voicing our concerns nothing was addressed nor comped nor taken care of.
Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs and don’t get swindled thinking you’ll get the same quality food and service like the Broad and Porter location.
