Setaara Reviews
Went here for the first time last night as a Valentine’s Dinner. My fiancé always wanted to go. Was about a 35 minute drive and 1000% worth it. From the free parking a half a block away in a church lot to the passion the staff shows - the place is top notch. They know it is a unique place (I mean the only French Afghan restaurant in world lol) so the staff and primary server is ready with any and all questions. He offered a quick rundown of menu. Took him two minutes to explain...read full review
Food was really good, ambiance is also on point. The staff was super friendly and patient with our two toddlers. Deff recommend
Well, I used to be a frequent customer of Setaara and this used to be a 5 star review. However, despite canceling the reservation over 24 hours in advance I was charged a 75 dollar fee. Every single time slot is available for tonight, 3/1 as well. So they can't say they turned someone away because of the cancellation yesterday. Stay far away from their management and their predatory business practices.

Setaara is a gorgeous restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing dining experience. The beautiful courtyard makes you feel like you're outdoors, and the striking interior features multiple seating areas. The food is delicious and well-prepared, from the chicken kabob to the salmon and lamb chops, which are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken liver is amazing, and the shrimp pernod is delicious. The bolani appetizer and eggplant appetizer are great, along with the vegetarian dumplings, which come highly recommended. The unique serving ware adds to the experience. The attentive service is fabulous, and the complimentary dates and tea add a nice touch. Despite limited parking and no wheelchair accessibility, the overall experience is delightful. Setaara, a hidden gem offering Afghan and French fusion cuisine, comes highly recommended for a tasty meal in a beautiful setting. BYOB, with a liquor store nearby. This is more of an experience, than a restaurant. Simply spectacular food, ambiance, decor, and service. The lamb shank is seriously good. Wonderful food and service. An excellent experience from appetizers to desserts. The tasting menu was loved for its exotic spicing, especially the cilantro sauce and the saffron salmon! It is a fusion restaurant with ample French and Italian choices as well. The dining room is filled with live hanging plants, fresh flowers, softly trickling fountains and a lovely Afghan/Middle Eastern motif. Chairs are super comfy and upholstered, and water is served in a beautifully engraved pewter mug. A fantastic dining experience.
