Great place, beautiful courtyard, makes you honestly feel like your outdoors.
Service was fabulous, food very good, escargot needs to ok be dressed up some when served, like snail tray, just sitting in large dish it looks lost all out of the shells.
Chicken liver amazing, lamb chops perfectly cooked and seasoned. Shrimp pernod delicious! Eggplant appetizer was great, definitely returning!
Afghan and French fusion cuisine made with love. The food and service is excellent. The atmosphere is truly a cultural experience. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Atlantic City.
The food was fantastic the atmosphere was beautiful and the service was great . We look forward to going back!
Food was delicious, good service and the interior is striking with multiple different seating areas. I had the vegetation dumplings and highly recommend them. My coworkers enjoyed their meals as well. BYOB and there's a liquor store a block away.
A hidden gem - delicious cuisine with a truly charming ambiance. Tasting menu was perfect with full course average size portions.
Setaara offers a delightful fusion of flavor and atmosphere. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the entire experience felt warm, authentic, and memorable.
My son and I had a delicious dinner to celebrate his 23rd birthday!!! The entire staff was so friendly and sang happy birthday songs for him 🎂!! Thank you, Satara staff, everyone was very cordial!! I definitely recommend this elegant restaurant 100%!! Every corner of it has exquisite decor!!
Amazing food and an even better service
This restaurant is more than worth the drive for food, service and atmosphere
Went here for the first time last night as a Valentine’s Dinner. My fiancé always wanted to go. Was about a 35 minute drive and 1000% worth it. From the free parking a half a block away in a church lot to the passion the staff shows - the place is top notch. They know it is a unique place (I mean the only French Afghan restaurant in world lol) so the staff and primary server is ready with any and all questions. He offered a quick rundown of menu. Took him two minutes to explain everything to us and narrow down exactly what we were going to order. The food was presented well, the wait was short, and staff was there for any request. Best part is the atmosphere and look. You feel that you’re somewhere special. Recommend for a unique family dinner or a place to take your significant other for an amazing night. You won’t be disappointment. Will be back.
We went here for my and my twin’s birthday celebration and the restaurant mistakenly gave our $60 custom cake to another table and gave us their Walmart cake, AFTER realizing their mistake.
Mistakes happen sure. But this restaurant’s owner/manager’s response was to offer the other table’s cake. No discount, no dessert, no responsibility taken. We each paid $90/person for dinner that night ($1,000 total bill), and that’s what they choose to do for their guests ??? That’s low.
Choose to eat here for food and atmosphere, and appreciate their servers for trying. But everyone should know how embarrassing the managers are towards their high-paying guests. Do not give them anything to hold for you.

My second time visiting this restaurant and it is one of my favorites when in Atlantic City. A reservation is required and it is a BYOB. Try everything on the menu, you won't regret it.
