This is a hidden gem in AC. Went there in Nov 2021. The food specially sri lankan chicken is amazing. They have very extensive menu and good cocktail selection. Hostess was amazing. They seem to have street parking only. The area seem to be little sketchy. The prices are reasonable and Sri Lankan spices are totally worth it. Would totally recommend it as they open and if you are in AC.
FANTASTIC FOOD. The people working there are extremely nice and great costumer service. Highly recommend this restaurant in AC!!!
Great authentic food, very clean place, friendly atmosphere, very nice owners, delicious food. Definitely one of the favorite place for us. We love trying new cuisine and that Sir Lanka definitely won our hearts. We will see you soon.
We come to the casinos once or twice a year and try to explore the area when here. As a result, we ended up at the Sri Lanka Restaurant. What a treat! Low key but convenient location. Modest looking inside but, man, the food was excellent. Definite overlap with Indian food but very distinctive flavoring. Everything was nicely cooked, interesting and very tasty. We got the chicken deviled dish, a fish kottu and lamb lumprais. We got the the last two on the owner's recommendation. All very good. We liked the deviled chicken so much that we ordered a second serving. Think the business is only about a half year old. Owner was completely charming, enthusiastic, accessible. These are pretty hard times to be opening a business. Impressively, she did and I'm rooting for her new restaurant. Rooting for her and selfishly I just want the restaurant around for whenever we return. Highly highly recommend
The best food i have ever had. The environment is too good and all the staffs are very polite and attentive. I can write a essay about the taste of their food. It is so delicious and sooooo goood.
The best seafood fried rice I've ever had in my life. The staff is super friendly. Love the atmosphere. I will definitely eat here every time I visit Atlantic City.
Reminded me of my mothers food … love it … will always come back … thank you …
Let's start with the good: friendly staff, quick service, very good sized portions with hearty helpings of meat, good naan. The bad: the samosa I got was clearly frozen then fried as the center was still super cold when it was served. The chicken korma flavor was just okay, fairly one note. They also have a fruit fly problem happening and they were landing on the food. Overall I would call this just okay and would likely try another location next time I was in AC.
If you go there you should really try their mixed kottu special one. It was super delicious. We also had lamp rice, wattalappam and Sri Lankan tea. I would say the best SL food we had here so far. I highly recommend their food. The staff is really friendly and nice too. They even made food the way how we want for our baby and didn’t even charge. If you go AC this is a one best place you should visit.
Highly recommend. Had a great delicious authentic Sri Lankan lunch. Very clean place with great customer service.
Restaurantji Recommends
When I first discovered this restaurant I was estatic. The Atlantic City area needed way more south Asian representation as well as quality food. I can say this place meets both of those standards. Not only is the food amazing the cultural appropriation is amazing from the decor to the staff. They work amazingly and effectively giving each other with a smile. There smile is quite contagious cause of how amazing the food here truly is. Definitely recommend coming here!
This restaurant has one of the best food in Atlantic City. When I entered in it was so professional and neat. Not only that this restaurant has great customer service which a big plus for me. Overall I recommend going to this restaurant, trust me you won’t regret it.
Most underrated gem in Atlantic City. By far best Indian/Sri Lankan food in the city hands down. If you want some flavor this is the place to go Perfectly seasoned cooked well. Tuna cutlets are bomb lamb Biryani was amazing Naan cooked perfectly. Staff is nice as well. Excellent will be coming back for sure.
Super delicious food and a unique experience if you've never tried sri lankan cuisine. Try the kottu, lamprais and a sizzling deviled dish
Great place super authentic and a bit of a different twist on Indian. I loved it. And it's very well priced. But beware of you don't like overly spicy food get the mild option lol.
