Sugar Factory - Atlantic City

The service was so slow!! And I had ordered the smaller Kong sundae ($71) for my son's birthday... took FOREVER to come out and the “show” for it was just ehh (Foxwoods one is WAY better). Then I got the bill and was charged for the large Kong sundae ($125), the service was so slow, I wasn't going to wait around to ask.

This was our second time at the restaurant. A couple of people arrived late to the reservation so we will take full accountability for where we were seated. The manager was amazing and we loved her vibe. However, our issue was with our server Himalay whom we felt wasn't very attentive compared to the server we had for our first experience. For a mandatory 18% gratuity (which was about $100 by the way), we felt like we received the bare minimum service. We were celebrating 2 of our children's birthdays and because everything took so long, we didn't stick around for dessert. We did not receive the complimentary cupcakes they mentioned for the kids birthdays. Food was great but service this time was sub par.

Portions are large without much taste. Chicken was overcooked. We were never asked if we needed drink refills.

Terrible ! Sat for 20 mins before anyone came over to get us drinks or water. Cappuccino was gross. Ice cream shakes look cool but not great

This place is just for the hype. The food was not good. I ordered my steak tips and it was so overcooked. I couldn't even eat it! Cheesecake pops were very dry. Server was OK ,Cute place but would not be going back 

We always enjoy the varied menu from breakfast to lunch appetizers and dinner Alcoholic beverages Specialty milkshakes and desserts

Overall, ok. Wanted to sit inside, but rude host said outside was the only option although we had reservations. Waitress was very nice. Outside on boardwalk was hot, buggy and smelly. Food was ok, desserts were awesome looking and ok tasting.

Food and service was great! Celebrated our daughter's graduation and staff was so great about it!!

We had a large party as we were in town for a soccer tournament and the staff did a good job handling our large party and making it an enjoyable evening. My only critique is that they don't let you split the check or order separately by family so it adds some time and confusion when it comes time to pay.

This was our first time here and I choose due to the many pics on line and I LOVE SWEETS!! LET'S JUST SAY it did not disappoint. The place is so charming and the dessert menu was huge. My husband and I landed up splitting a huge 4 scoop ice cream with everything on it and it was even too big for us to finish. Our waitress was as cute as a button and so nice and welcoming. She knew it was our first time, so she took the time to go over her recommendations. We will be bringing our daughter back when she visits

🎉 Birthday vibes on 10! Booked Sugar Factory last minute for my daughter's birthday, they made it unforgettable! The atmosphere was energetic, the food was delicious, and the staff sang happy birthday with a full celebration. We ordered the Birthday Sundae Tree (smoke and all!) — it was HUGE, came with cupcakes and candy, and we even picked a song from the list for them to play. The silverware was dirty 30+ minutes to be served drinks (they weren't busy) Brought out the incorrect food then argued with us.

I've sent this complaint 3 times already and unable to reach the manager for the past 4 days. Comments: I was at this location (4/25) last night 10 pm for my daughter's 17th bday. We have been here multiple times. Last night I held back tears from being so uncomfortable. Please pull the footage so you can see for yourself. Our waitress made me feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable. All of our fries were cold. We ordered 2 of the virgin big drinks and 2 mojitos. I ask her if they were alcoholic or if she thought we wanted virgin because it didn't taste like it had any alcohol. She had an attitude and said very cocky would you like another shot. She confirmed they were alcoholic and that was fine. We declined a shot of alcohol. She brought over a glass about 6 ounces of rum poured a shot in my friends drink without telling us and the rest into my glass!!! Half my drink was pure rum. It was absolutely disgusting I couldn't drink it. It's also unacceptable to add liquor to a persons drink like that. A $19 drink not touched. This was the worst experience we had there and in general. I was so upset I spent $250 on this dinner. Cold fries, horrible drinks. I was so uncomfortable to ask for anything else or bring anything to her attention or ask for anything else because of her attitude. Again, please review the footage and observe her body language and mine. I've never been treated like this at a restaurant especially one I had to save for. It was my daughters birthday dinner and I left a note on my reservation that it was her birthday dinner for when we ordered dessert. We did not order dessert and got milkshakes from Wawa on the way home. I would like my money back or a gift card in return for what we spent atleast.

It was so loud in the restaurant we couldn't hear ourselves talk. My son ordered a nonalcoholic $40 drink and he did not like it, I discussed it with the waiter how it almost tasted like there was alcohol in it and he said no I'm positive there wasn't and then he tasted it and said no it doesn't have alcohol, Instead of him offering us something else, my son is 4. Our waiter never came to our table to see how everything was and if we wanted more water or anything, I had to plug him down every time. I asked him for two boxes to go, and he only gave me one, I had to shove all my food into it, and we barely ate our food because it was so late by the time our food came out I also asked for silverware and he said he couldn't find any so he was only able to give me the to go silverware. I also was trying to move the drink and I filled the $40 drink and I asked him for napkins to clean it up and he left napkins on the table instead of helping me. I was disappointed with our visit and it was just me and a four-year-old and our bill was $100
