Another delicious meal at this excellent Italian eatery. Yes, it's expensive, but we are at an AC casino, so, we expect the prices. Our server, Jose, was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. This Restautant is responsive and accommodating to individual food requests. This certainly is not the way it was with the previous Italian eatery here. Definitely a step above.

Our second time at La Strada. Food was terrific as was the ambiance. Our server Digna was polite, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She brought us cannolis because she heard us talking about how we were there for our anniversary.

My gf and I had a wonderful dinner from the octopus appetizer to the spaghetti, carbonara entrée and the moose chocolate cake for dessert. The meal was amazing and the service was attentive and fun.

Filet and lobster special was excellent. Great seating by Michelle. Old fashioneds were mixed perfectly. Loved the meatball flatbread to start, very unique. Finished with Tiramisu. Delicious!!! Digna took great care of us. Will be back.

Our experience was nice, the food was good, our service was okay...our server seemed somewhat inattentive. For being a fine dining restaurant, the service wasn't what we expected. He was very nice when he was at our table though. The restaurant was very nice & clean. A bit noisy. We dine out every weekend and multiple times a week, so I'm undecided as to whether we will try again, with so many other wonderful choices in ACNJ.

This was our second visit to La Strada. Our first was on July 8th of this year. We were fortunate enough to have Jay as our Server again, this time he was partnered with Eric. They were true pros, and no complaints with the fabulous service from start to finish. The problem we had is that the prices are incredibly high. It cost us close to $350.00 for two. My wife and I ordered from the specials menu. Specials are typically more expensive than regular menu items but...my wife had the halibut, and I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes, hers came with Risotto. Delicious yes, but about $95.00 for my steak, and about $85.00 for her fish. We had three drink's between us, she had a Pinot Grigio, I had two Vodka Martinis. We also shared an appetizer of two meatballs with one small crostini. The food and drinks were terrific, but the cost seemed excessive. We ate with my sister and her husband, but fortunately decided to get separate checks for their sake - lol

This was our first time to the restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice. A great date restaurant. Seeing as how the restaurant is known for their handmade pasta, I was expecting more. I didn't like the texture or chewiness of the spaghetti that was served with my dish. All I ate was my seafood. But you must order the crostini with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and mozzarella cheese, basically a deconstructed bruschetta. It was amazing! The best thing I ate there! And the cream dessert with the pistachios and fruit was really delicious. I guess I just shouldn't have ordered a main course.

Waited at the bar for an 8:15 reserved table. Bartender seemed annoyed when we said we were just having a drink while waiting for our table. We got seated about 20 min later. Put our order in, bread arrived about 15 min later. Our dinner arrived about an hour later.! We asked several times where's our dinner? Staff could care less. Dinners were tasteless.

Recently ate at La Strada & the entire experience was horrible. We waited an hour & half for food that miraculously showed up when we asked for our bill to pay for pre dinner drinks as we did not want to wait any longer. 8 meals, 2 of them edible. Veal was no better than a frozen veal patty - tough & chewy. Two of the 3 pasta dishes tasted like a salt shaker had been dumped on the dish. Scallop risotto was also too salty to eat. After an hour & 15 minutes I spoke to the manager inquiring about our food. She was not concerned & said 45-60 minutes is typical. After eating we again asked to speak to the manager & voiced our concern over the quality of the food & the excessive wait. The solution was to comp 4 of the 8 meals & offer dessert. We declined dessert as that may have taken another hour & we just wanted out. Result was a $322 bill for 1 vodka/tonic, 5 glasses of wine, 1 side dish & the 3 dinners that were half eaten. To top it off when we got up to leave 1 of the ladies had what looked like grease spots on both knees from her legs touching under the table. Again, no concern over this from the restaurant. We will never return to La Strada. I should had all members of our party had eaten there several times in the past & were very pleased.

The food and service were outstanding. My comment which I voiced to the MOD was that there was a dog in a food establishment. To be clear it was not a service dog, no vest to suggest it was working. Plus a service dog doesn't bark for no apparent reason. The female MOD states that she could not question the service dog status as that is the law. Since I am not from New Jersey I have no idea what the state laws are. Just that I find it very strange the local or state Board of Health allows this. But again I am not from New Jersey.

Outstanding service! Absolutely a first class dining experience. I had the meatballs with whipped ricotta and the Sunday gravy was perfect. Afterwards, I had the New York strip with shiitake mushrooms and it was perfectly cooked to a gorgeous medium. Very flavorful!

Well, my expectations did not match the quality of the food ... and the prices were way out of line . Cute that the martini glass was dry iced at the table .. I personally did not enjoy my Chicken Parmigiana and the thick spaghetti.. Meatballs were good .. but $20 for an extra meatball , no thank you.

The food here is predictably good. Our waiter, Rofino, had apparently been assigned too many tables at once. He was furiously buzzing around, but found it difficult getting to us. Our food arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes after we were seated. I was taken aback by pricing. Most pasta dishes are $35 to $40. I ordered the "pasta Special" thinking it would be priced accordingly, and it turned out to be $40 MORE ($79.99). I spoke to Rofinno about it when paying the bill and he said management did not want them to tell customers the prices of specials - VERY POOR! As usual, a glass of house wine was ridiculous ($18), I rarely even look at a restaurant bill's details, but I was quite annoyed, this is tough to swallow even in Atlantic City. Maybe the service and pricing is why the place was half full at 8:30 on a Saturday night.

La strada fra Diavolo and Jay's ribeye steak special were delicious. Jay, Aluin, and Jahir provided wonderful and timely service. Wine selections and drinks were also great. Look forward to coming back soon.
