The atmosphere here is absolutely gorgeous, but the security and service were terrible. My friends and I came to the pool for a little over an hour and was bright nothing but distress and turmoil. The security was trying to skirt with my friend and since she turned him down, he decided to harass and then remove us for no absolute reason. I will never be returning here again.

The party was wack and empty last year on Dec 23rd. Not like the previous years in which the party was packed. The Dj was wonderful but people only come for certain Djs. I had a party of 15. What a disapointment.

I remember when this place was #2 on the East. Management really destroyed an amazing thing.

The club is really cool. It’s such a unique experience, and being able to use the pool and hot tub on quieter nights is fantastic.

However, drinks are really expensive (for example a vodka Red Bull was almost $20) Night of covers are usually pretty pricy as well even on nights when it damn well isn’t busy enough to justify a $40 cover

Additionally, the club can feel pretty empty on nights where it’s slower due to the sheer size of the club, which can make the vibe less appealing.

Sound was good, but my comment is about the bar not giving water in cups as I thought bars were legally obligated to. They charged almost $10 for bottles of water. People were literally DRINKING THE POOL WATER

This place is a joke. They impose rules without prior notice and then make you jump through hoops to get a refund. When you ask for clarification they get innyout face. Go elsewhere.

Our show was oversold and the venue hit max capacity before the main act took the stage. The line stretched around the perimeter of the venue, while the staff waited for guests to leave in order to let other guests in. Towards the sides of the venue, the sound bleed is horrible, and you can’t hear the music playing without echoes.

We attended an Illenium show at The Pool After Dark so our experience wasn't the norm for its regular club experience. The dress code was incredibly lax compared to what was listed online. Probably because we all bought tickets ahead of time for the event instead of the normal cover charge club experience. They did however vet people for any safety issue garments like hats and sharp things.

Basic drinks were $16 in small 12oz plastic cups. They did completely fill them at least.

While I don't feel the venue is ideal for an EDM show, I think they did a great job handling a VERY packed house. Security were on point and the only physical altercation I saw was swiftly handled and removed. No injuries other than people slipping on wet steps.

All the staff I interacted with were very friendly. My only complaint is one guy was leading the bottle girls out to the VIP area and he liked to beam people in the eyes with his flashlight (not the strobing wand thing - just a straight up flashlight).

And I get it, he was dealing with the VIP d!cks (it was a VIP who got dragged out by security) all night, but the people crowding the steps weren't being rude or refusing to move. We were just trying to watch the light show in an extremely packed space. Dude with the light didn't need to blind people to get them to part. I watched plenty of people get by with a single hand pat to the back. The general admission crowd were honestly really friendly and mostly behaved considering the amount of booze and weed and high energy of EDM.

Clubbing isn't really my thing so I doubt I'd return for a regular evening but for another DJ event? Yeah, I'd definitely come back out.

I came to the Pool After Dark with my boy and a group for his birthday for Illenium. He booked us a table in a cabana. They gave us specific wristbands for VIPs who got tables. In the middle of Illenium’s set, he left to go to the bathroom and get some air near the exit. He didn’t actually exit, but one of the security guards decided he was too intoxicated and told him to leave. He tried to re-enter but none of the people in the security team would let him back in, citing that they weren’t letting anyone in. However, me and other people in our group saw several other people being allowed to enter.
He was not belligerent or doing anything that warranted being kicked out.
He was the one paying for the $3000 table; he was literally paying for the paychecks of the people not allowing him back in. I don’t see how management can just allow this to happen and not do anything about it. Completely ruined our experience and we will not be returning.
