Sued the makers of the real Tun Tavern. You’re just borrowing the name, your restaurant sucks and not even in Philadelphia.

Aside from the craft beer, the wings were horrible no flavor and service was horrible.

If Sharon is considered one of your best employees after 20 years, it may be time to reassess what customer service excellence looks like. During our visit, her attitude was curt, unwelcoming, and frankly, unprofessional. A smile and basic courtesy would’ve gone a long way in creating a better experience.

Additionally, the outdated POS system and Tun’s resistance to modern upgrades suggest a lack of investment in both staff efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Atlantic City community deserves better.

We won’t be returning—and based on our experience, we’ll be encouraging others to take their business elsewhere.

Unpleasant experience - attached to hotel and across from convention centre and they do not have the ability to split bills. Insanity. I am sorry you all seem to hate your job but as a server you are in customer service industry….. act like it or quit. Gave thus place 2 chances. There is no third. Server was Sharon T.

Well, I’d give this place more stars but they stopped allowing dogs in the outdoor patio.

Nice brisket burger sandwich. Great house vinaigrette. Would definitely go again.

My husband (a veteran) and I had been to Tun Tavern several years ago in Philadelphia so when we came to Atlantic City we saw there was one there. We parked across the street which was supposedly free parking for customers of the Tun Tavern. The parking attendant took our $10 and said we get it back when we brought back the validated ticket, which we did. But the guy had disappeared. We waited for about 20 minutes but he was gone. Its not the $10 but we just felt scammed. The restaurant was fine but it was not the way to end a nice dinner.

Did not have beers indicated on website. Totally ignored us when seated, so we left. Would not return

This place is great. There is plenty of seating, tasty beer selection, and good menu options with the food being tasty!! I recommend the Nashville hot and the beer flight so you can try what they have on offer. I personally enjoy the Tun Pale Ale 🍺 friendly bartenders and fast service. They have a parking lot right out front of the Sheraton you can park at. Also convenient if you want to do some shopping first and then come and relax have a beer 🍻 cheers!

Go tell it to the marines...I had the one ton burger with cheese, and it was pretty fair. Really no complaints there....the ribs left a bit to be desired... The ribs were pretty grizzly... No, not like old Ben from that show Grizzly Adams, but full of grizzle. I have to remember that most places are not cooking ribs every day and these taste like they may have sat in the fridge for a spell. Ask your server when they were prepared if you go this route. The broccoli taste off and would be way good if you just dropped it in a nice boiling pan of fresh brined water, and cooked just until bright green. Our server was awesome and quick to take care of us. Ooooh rah.

Waited an hour for a burger and it was over cooked. Also had sweet potatoes fries that were undercooked. 1 and done with this place.
