Service was stellar! Ask for Loretta. She was cheerful, knew the menu, and was expedient in getting our food served. We had a mix of seafood and Italian dishes which we all enjoyed.

Great experience from start to finish! We had the most amazing view of the ocean. The service was top notch and the food was incredible! I would definitely put this restaurant on your list as a must try!! The only problem we had was deciding what dishes we wanted to try. The menu has so many traditional Italian favorites but table next to us ordered the steak. It looks so delicious. I am coming back next time to give that a try.

Our food was great and the view was awesome. Unfortunately our main server was rather rude and unprofessional. She forgot several things and seemed annoyed when we asked for modifications due to allergies and one member of our party being pregnant. Overall the food was great but the service really ruined our evening out to celebrate a birthday.

Don’t waste your money unless you want road service slow service, mediocre food and an extremely high price. I understand that it is a casino and you will pay more money. Have no problem with that at all. I have a problem with being spoken to disrespectfully by the staff and Food being cold and being late. Once again, many choices to eat that in Atlantic City do not waste your time, effort or money at this location.

Food was delicious although waitress ruined our experience. Besides her horrible attitude and lack of hospitality knowing we were there to celebrate a 21st birthday, she also never mentioned the specials they offered that evening. We heard her present the specials to a table next to us when we finished our dinners. I was also offered cheese for my pasta as I was taking the last few bites. Won't go back!

We haven't been to this place since they moved to the new location inside Tropicana but I must say we were disappointed in the quality of food. We were expecting so much better. While the old location left much to be desired. New location is very nice inside.

Appetizers were good, a couple of the clams were sandy but tasted good. My filet was cooked perfectly and my wife's veal was delicious as well. Desserts were good as well. A bit pricy but worth the cost.

It was our first time at the restaurant and we were greeted immediately. We got an oceanfront table. The food was incredible with big proportions and our server Ashley was wonderful and very knowledgeable. 

Service and food was excellent, we did not care for the meat and cheese board appetizer. It was not well done - only one cheese, olives were hidden- artichokes were gross. No flatbreads, too much red pepper... just not well done. They could have done so much better.

Chef Mike Buckley & his culinary team always knock it outta the ballpark, food is always top notch. Patrick, the director of Trop restaurants, goes out of his way to accommodate any special requests. I literally can not recommend IL Verdi highly enough... you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were staying at the Borgata for business on a Wednesday evening. Since we have tried every restaurant that was open, we wanted to try something new to us. Il Verdi was recommended to us and since we were also celebrating my birthday we decided to make the short little trek to the Tropicana for dinner. The restaurant is hidden away in a corner of the casino furthest away from the popular Quarter. The ambience is more casual than I expected, but the best part was when our server came over and I realized she was a former student of mine. My husband and I started with the crostini primavera, which consisted of Eggplant Caponata, Tomato Conserva, Peppers alla Nonna, Balsamic Pearl Onions, Whipped Ricotta, and served with toasted Semolina Baguette ( taken from the menu). We immediately had our favorites and used the rest of the complimentary bread from the table to dip into the tomato conserva and whipped ricotta. For my entree I did the veal blanco, which was tender veal served with fontina cheese, asparagus, and jumbo lump crab meat in a lemon butter sauce. I also ordered the fingerling potatoes as a side. My husband did the chicken parm with rigatoni as his side. The marinara was really good and I couldn't stop stealing his rigatoni. We were both full but our server surprised us with dessert for my birthday which was so sweet. It was a chocolate hazelnut mousse cake ( at least that's what it seemed like it was) and we ended up eating it all. Our server was fantastic, and I could tell she wasn't just being attentive because I knew her. She was visiting all of her tables frequently. While I was expected something a little more upscale based on the recommendation we were given, dinner was really good and the ambience was nice and peaceful. I am glad we tried Il Verdi.

Went for birthday asked them twice beforehand to bring out a birthday cheesecake. They forgot everything. But the table next to me that had three people. They literally had three servers attending to them for some reason like they were some type of international superstars.

The food was fantastic. Our waiter Mark was excellent. It was nice to see the ocean while dining. We enjoyed celebrating my husband's birthday at IlVerdi. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service. Very nice ambiance. Food was good but for $55 for an 8 oz. filet, even the server said it looked like a hockey puck on a plate. I asked for no mushrooms but there was literally NOTHING else on the large plate but the piece of meat.

My wife & I dined at Il Verdi for Valentine's Day and chose their wonderful Valentine's Day special prix fixe dinner menu - everything was wonderful - the food, the wine, the service, the ambiance, the music, the friendliness of the staff - all fabulous! We are regular visitors to Il Verde, which we love, but this was the most special visit of all. Margarita, the general manager, and Javier, the assistant manager, always ensure that everything runs perfectly. We often sit in the bar area, which is beautiful & comfortable, and Bill & Jose do a wonderful job at the bar. And we love the main dining room, with its amazing beach & ocean views as well as stunning interior, and fantastic service levels. Highly recommend for any occasion - casual, spur-of the moment, or any special occasion, or large -group event - we hosted our company Christmas party at il Verde with 50 people attending and everything was just as great as if it was just my wife & I.
