Yardy Real Jamaican Food offers a generous amount of meat, such as oxtail and pepper steak, in their dishes, often accompanied by two sides. Customers find the food delicious, with authentic seasoning. The restaurant is known for its smoked jerk wings and well-cooked sides, like mac n cheese, plantain, and rice n peas. It is highly recommended for its great value and tender, flavorful meat. The fried fish is also noted to be crispy and tasty, while the oxtails are soft and cooked perfectly.
Customers describe the Jamaican food at Yardy as "home made cooked" and "different from eating food with all kinds of seasoning substance," more like "eating African meals." The white meat chicken is reported as "juicy and very favorable" with "very nice spice to it." The mac n cheese and cornbread are highlighted as particularly tasty. Many enjoy the generous portions and impressive presentation for takeout. Although many choose to order out, there are also chairs and tables available for those who prefer to dine in for quick service. This spot offers a mix of Jamaican and American cuisine and is conveniently located just a 10 to 15-minute walk from most casinos in the area. Customers highly recommend the restaurant, noting the food is "spicy" and the service is quick and helpful, especially for first-time Jamaican food customers.
