This is a place where I enjoy sitting and catching up with friends. I have enjoyed their avocado tartine, vegan breakfast bagel, and hot drinks. They always have interesting items for sale around the store, and I appreciate that they share posters for local events.
We discovered this little gem recently. We like to ride our bikes from the Highlands along the Henry Hudson trail and stop at JuS for a bite. They offer an excellent selection of coffee, teas, and fresh juices. My first time there I had breakfast bowl with fresh eggs, avocado, sweet potato hash, a small side salad, and vegan sausage. It was enough food for 2 people but it was so delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. The second time we went, I tried the latte and the single...
Stopped in to rest at the halfway point of our group 30k run today. We ran from firefighter’s park to the Strauss mansion museum. Initially we planned to just get some water and continue our run but we ended up staying a while grabbing a high tide juice smoothie and enjoying the atmosphere - it’s very lively. One of the staff let us sample the ‘forbidden black rice’ and that was a neat experience. Would come back again and perhaps end our long runs here with some food...
