Yummy food and coffee! An avalon staple. Love it here!

Ridiculous prices for a 2 very subpar bagels with scrambled eggs and bacon, a buttered roll and 3 pastries, nearly 40.00. Even by 7 mile island standards this seems very expensive. I can sit and enjoy a full breakfast at a restaurant for less.

Get the Isabel’s Crumb Buns. With good reason they put their name on this one. Fluffy, buttery, just enough cinnamon, overloaded with crumbles and powdered sugar. Perfect.

Food was fine, but it took way to long to get at the person as the register seemed confused and asked me for my order multiple times.

Came in searching for blueberry pie, and purchased the blueberry peach pie. The pie was amazing!! Lots of fresh blueberry and peach flavor not over powered with sugar or cornstarch with a great crust. We also ordered smoothies, which were huge and a meal in and of themselves. The croissants were rather average but my husband liked his bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Cute place and friendly service.

I ordered an oat milk latte today and it poisoned me- I threw up all my coffee right after I drank it and nothing else and now i feel okay. I am very lactose intolerant :( Poisoned

The family who runs Isabel’s are so incredibly sweet. Great cakes, breakfast sandwiches, donuts and more. They are always so sweet and patient with my kids who like to order and pay themselves. Go early to avoid too much of a crowd.

The food, coffees and bakery items are definitely delicious here, but the wait times are pretty abysmal. It’s understandable during their busy times (morning) but when there’s 2-3 people in there, it’s strange how long items take to come out. Also, it’s worth asking when you order if they do have the bread you request (especially bagels) in stock, because if they don’t they usually come out 10+ mins after you order and say “we’re out of ___ bagels” which is pretty frustrating. The staff should be 86ing items that are done, but they done.Overall, great spot for bakery, coffee, and food items, but they could use better training / efficiency.

I love Isabel's. They have great salads, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. It's not easy to find reliable, good-quality cafes here on the island. So I am more than grateful for Isabel's! It's an adorable little shop, that even has local art and crafts. They even have painting events once a week in the summer evenings. Some of my go to's, are the wasabi fish wrap, the peanut chicken wrap, the Greek salad with protein, a fruit croissant, any of the breakfast sammie's, and always an iced coffee. It's nice they have a coffee stamp card, too. Highly recommend!

Great spot for breakfast. Lots of delicious bakery items and breakfast sandwich choices. We need to stop by for lunch.

I regret being too hungry to take photos. Both times! Fantastic lunch wraps and sandwiches on baguettes. Go for the baguette options especially. I especially enjoyed the yellowfin with bacon and chicken with gooey mozzarella. Others liked the tuna, BLTs, Caprese, and many other chicken combos. Salads also good. But if you love sandwiches on good bread, try one of the baguette choices.

Very bizarre experience here the other day. Walked in to an almost empty shop with at least 7-8 workers there. Walked up to register (no line) and placed an order for a bagel with veggie cream cheese. After about 15 minutes of patiently waiting I asked where my order was and they said they’re still working on it. I found this rather odd since only 1-2 customers had come in since my arrival and I had not even asked for it to be toasted. I did notice lots of whispering though after I asked as if I couldn’t see them, but no one bothered to actually walk back and see what was up. I waited another 5 minutes and asked another young man what the story was so he actually took the time to go back and see only to come back out and tell me their was no everything bagels left so they were making me some. I told him I just wanted a quick bagel and someone should have told me this news and I would have just ordered a different kind. He actually apologized and let me know it would be ready shortly. Eventually it did come out and I was disappointed. The cream cheese tasted like they just mixed soup mix and cream cheese together and the bagel was crispy. Maybe they tried to toast it? I can’t imagine what is going to happen when it’s busy this summer because this was a random Friday and it was not busy at all. Won’t be back
