I could bake better donuts with an easy bake oven. $20 of 6 of these

Best donuts ever!!! I waited all year for these donuts and Kohler's never disappoints. I am a donut connoisseur and I can honestly say this place is amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful and I absolutely love that it is family owned and operated. Very special.

$3.25 for a single donut seems crazy, especially when there are local places charging less than half that price. Was expecting the best donuts and buns I’ve ever had for those prices, but was less than impressed. Everything was VERY DRY and nothing seemed fresh.

I was born when Kohlers Bakery was established.. I rode my bike to get the succulent jelly and cream donuts for our family on 23rd street. Even living in a cape May, I would come to purchase donuts for the family. I am sorry to say that last year the jelly and cream were not the same and not worth the drive from Cape May. What a letdown.. I have not tried the others bakery w/o the Kohler name at the original location. Why do things like have to change. 76 years of A+ donuts and buns.

I was very excited to leave the bar and get a delicious batch of creamers, cinnamon twists, and vanilla kruellers. I was surprised to see that despite the promises of being open until 3 AM; I arrived to an empty kohlers with no employees to answer the call. I was upset to say the least. This was a dream come true for all of my fiends and you ruined it. I am upset to say that you lost a loyal customer. Don’t over promise and under deliver

I visited their stand at the Colorado Springs farmers market in Old Colorado City this morning. Saw they had sourdough for sale and was excited since I’ve only been able to purchase it from one bakery in town. Buy the loaf, head home, just to realize I was scammed. It’s white bread. Either this bakery is blatantly lying about offering sour dough, or the person manning the stand has no clue what they are vendoring. I am so disappointed and out $7 best spent elsewhere. I’ll be buying my sourdough from the tried and true Provisions Bakery in downtown.

New location but still the same fantastic donuts and delicious pastries to eat. It’s a little further for us to go but well worth the time and mileage to get there. A must visit for those who haven’t been and a revisit for our crew every weekend. Keep up the amazing work and thanks for the love extra handles by the end of the summer.

My family has been going to Kohlers since the 1960s but sadly a lot has changed under the new owners. The cream donuts are smaller, have less cream, and they have a weird aftertaste, like there's a different ingredient in the mix. The texture of the donuts is different too, not as soft and light as before. The prices are higher too! It's a shame to see how this Avalon tradition has changed for the worse.

Disappointment now that the company has been sold. Big let down…just like the Phillies.

$3.25 for one small doughnut?? Seriously? $40 for a dozen? This place only survives in Avalon. Delicious but way overpriced. Loved this place forever but this feels like "everyone in Avalon is rich so let's charge a ridiculous price and see if they are stupid enough to keep buying."
