The Princeton is my absolute favorite bar in Avalon. I love everything about it, the food, the bands, and the incredible atmosphere. The only downside is the miserable hostess. I thought a hostess was supposed to greet people warmly and make them feel welcomed. I have been going to the Princeton for years and she is consistently rude, could care less if you eat at the restaurant and is demeaning to the staff. Instead of being the face of the Princeton, she should probably be in the back washing dishes away from the customers. I sure hope that management makes some changes so the “P” can continue to be the incredible establishment it has the potential to be.

The prices are outrageous. The food is sub par. My Caribbean rice bowl with chicken was dry and over powered with curry. The chicken was so dry I needed wash it down with water. For $27 it wasn’t worth the price. My husbands flounder sandwich had paper thin flounder. He said you could barely taste it. All in all a lot of money for not good food!

Hi, not happy with how the staff at the bar (where the band was) treated me. Didn’t have cash, which I get was communicated that you need, but I went to give my cc after waiting atleast 10 min, and I was told I was mean and inconsiderate. While the bartender proceeded to give attention to the you ladies at the bar. Money is money. Just saying 🤔

I am Canadian, I am also a Server. This is a beautiful venue with a nice menu. The bartender, the older man was great. The servers however were the rudest, most unwelcoming people I have ever met.we were in Avalon for a wedding, there weren’t many options for F&B so we kept going back to this place, always hoping for a better experience. Not a chance of that!!! These people need to learn some hospitality and they need to do it fast.

I am a super Crabcake snob...yet I got the Crabcake sandwhich and loved it! I suggest getting it with the Chipotle Mayo versus the Tarter Sauce...you will not be disappointed!

Very nice restaurant. I loved the crab cake sandwich and the burnt ends appetizer. The cocktails were great. Our server was very pleasant.

The pizzas and flatbreads were deffinetly not up to par for the area, but the bar has a good beer selection, and the space is very comfortable with lots of seating and fast service.
