My husband and I have been to Shorebreak many times over the years and we’ve always had a wonderful experience! The food is really tasty. He loves all of the jerk chicken dishes and I loved the pastas and pizzas I ordered. Their dishes are traditional (in a good way) and tasty and the prices are reasonable compared to some other places nearby. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We usually eat on the back (covered) patio, but the inside looks like it has been updated. A hidden gem in Avalon!

So this was a hit or miss for us. We had a Caesar salad and a spinach salad both were very good. We had the hoagie dip also very good The pizza , however was not the best in my opinion. We had a Hawaiian pizza. Dry and lacked toppings. Then the white seafood pizza. Very greasy, taste was ok. Not a lot of toppings either. We would get it again but definitely try different pizza or maybe skip them all together

Great casual place with a varied menu. Also BYOB. They have a nice covered outdoor patio in the back. Unfortunately they do not make the island slaw anymore. That was my favorite. Sorry, Shorebreak, but you are no longer on my list of favorite places in Avalon.

We got a basket of fries, wings, and coconut shrimp. Food was good but the portions of the wings and shrimp were small for what the price was. Also 2 tables of shrieking kids right behind us and across the way. Parents were sitting near both tables but only told the kids to quiet down after they'd been stared at by multiple other tables. Definitely a good family place but if you want a peaceful meal I would go elsewhere.
This place is great. We had some time to kill before checking into our hotel, so we stopped in for lunch. The Sunday pizza special was great. Pizza was delicious and you would have never guess it was less than $10.Though it was a bit of an afterthought when we ordered, the cheese curds were a highlight. In face, they were the best I've ever had!Add in a good local beer selection and great service and this place is a can't miss!

Pulled pork was great! Small Caesar salad with shrimp, not so much. Salad was so small, paid 9$ for lettuce, and 8$ for shrimp on top. Highly recommend the margarita pizza though! Service was iffy. The check was given when we were still eating and the server never checked on us. Took 15 minutes for a water refill and we were the only table in the restaurant. Our unnamed server was very standoffish and rude

My first time eating and let me say it was fantastic!The j*** chicken platter had a good portion of everything especially the chicken surprisingly and the shrimp corn chowder was off the charts…… really good! I will be back!

Reservation for 8 went thru but when we got there the outdoor garden closed for a party. Offered us two booths so we ended up squeezing into one. Would have been nice if they called to tell us. The margherita pizza had a few unripened tomatoes in the center. Not the best. The fries were cold and hard. Lemonade left a lot to be desired. The worse was the pretzel with crab and cheese. I asked for no crab or cheese. Came with cheese but was cold and hard and yet they still tried to charge me $16. They did adjust the price when I complained. This is my first trip to Avalon. Recommendations were given to me for Shorebreak. Honestly would never go back again. Again this is my experience but wanted to share.
