Best seafood place in Avalon. We eat here every year and have ordered so many different things and it’s all been hot, fresh and so delicious! We started bringing family and friends along as well and they graciously host our large crowd. I will say if you are going with a larger group, maybe eat on the earlier side. They do get busy and rightly so!
Omg. We’ve been coming to Avalon for 40yrs, first time here and this is THE BEST seafood on island. The crab cakes- insane. No fillers. All lump crab. The old bay fries- also insane. Fried shrimp- holy moly. Literally every single thing we tried was absolutely, well, perfect. Well flippin done The Son and The Sailor. We WILL be back.
Cute space, call ahead to gauge your pickup time and do add a bit on a mid summer weekend. Lobster roll is legit and worth the price. Skip the fish and chips (local flounder and over fried IMO). Cole slaw a bit too sweet. BYO at their picnic tables on the side if you’re not doing take out. Service and order accuracy 💯
