Love the place, but still have not opened the inside seating since pandemic. Went when it was hot at 6pm. Had to leave - too hot sitting outdoors in sidewalk w.93 degrees and humid...ice cream is watery in seconds! PLEASE OPEN limited counter seating or something. Please? Disappointed, sorry.
The ice cream at Sundae Best is really good! This review is for the rest of the experience. We haven’t been here in years, and showed up to find out that they are still using outdoor ordering that was started during COVID. This means that you can’t sample or see the flavors, which is a huge deterrent - especially for the cost of their scoops.They also do not have flavor descriptions listed in person or online. They have lots of really interesting flavors and we all really enjoyed what we got. Personally, I was SO impressed with their vegan ice cream!! They make all their ice cream there, including their vegan ice cream. Well, there’s only one flavor at a time, the flavor I had (chocolate peanut butter) was absolutely delicious. One of the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had.
