Stopped in for a late lunch. Only available service was at bar area. Two staffers sitting at bar fording napkins and talking. No acknowledgement from them. Sat by windows overlooking pool. Air conditioner blowing over both seats at our table. Ordered lobster bisque which was a large portion and delicious. Chicken salad on croissant was also good. Iced tea was from a machine and not fresh made.
We met up with friends for lunch. The Buffalo shrimp hoagie did not have enough buffalo sauce for it to be a true buffalo shrimp. The crab cake sandwich was ok. My friend had the grilled chicken sandwich on a roll.

The windrift was always the Go-To spot back in the late 1990s. We would go there for the beach happy hours on the weekends. I love the new design of the upstairs so the atmosphere is a great vibe. This time was just not the same. The bar was empty upstairs and many tables were empty as well. It was mid August where it should be buzzing. Our waitress was nice and friendly.
