Hopefully you’ll address the handicap access so I can enjoy The Columns once again. Miss going out to The Columns but Progressive MS has made climbing the stairs unsafe and impossible.
🙂We had our 49th Wedding Anniversary dinner at The Columns on 8/24/23. The experience was excellent. Special thanks to Leslie Sims for assisting us in getting to the top of the wait list. The food was excellent and our waitress, Jaime, was the best. I highly recommend The Columns!
Food was not that good. Lobster roll was not hot and not in butter. Salsa and guacamole had no or dull tasting with stale chips.

The Columns offers a welcoming atmosphere and great food, including a buffet-style dinner service. The stunning decor and beachside location are a bonus. The indoor section features live music and turns into a lively bar/club scene at night. Guests can enjoy dinner on the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean, even as the band plays indoors, creating a nostalgic feel. The restaurant has been a summer bar and restaurant since 1883, located in a Victorian-era mansion. The food and cocktails are on point, with popular dishes like the Surf-n-Turf roll with lobster & steak, fried calamari, and Seafood Mediterranean. Service is great, and the staff are excited about the NJ #eatjersey challenge. The wrap-around porch offers a beautiful ocean view, perfect for casual outdoor dining. The venue regularly hosts good live bands, making it a nice place to sip, eat, and talk. Overall, The Columns is a family-friendly spot with ocean and beach views, ideal for lunch or dinner, with live entertainment in season. It's a memorable place for a great experience by the shore.
