The replacement of the former Avon-by-the-Sea boardwalk concession has been uneven as it relates to the take-out menu. They got rid of the iconic extra large griddled hot dogs with toasted buns and replaced it with a soggy, pre-made alternative. And the chicken tenders were under cooked. After two unsuccessful attempts at lunch at the Promenade, I crossed the street and ate at the Columns for the first time. I’ll return when the Promenade’s take-out options move a bit...
Restaurant is one of the best down the jerseys shore. The manager Donna makes you feel like family. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal.I actually give it six stars.
