Very cool to see the big ships. I had no idea the fishing industry was so huge off the intercoastal waterway. (I live 30 minutes away x 40 years.) The village itself has some cool decor and upscale clothing. The farm stand was the highlight for us - with better brand snacks like dill pickle flavored pretzels and Pirates Booty popcorn. It was worth it for an hour on a beautiful afternoon. Ended up in Beach Haven for lunch
Cassidy's is great and has the best souvenir t shirts on the island(get the scallops), how you brewin' top notch coffee, market is great for any food you forgot to pack and the one apparel store has a nice selection.
Twice a year I come for the Art show! The ladies do a great job organizing this show every year. I'm grateful to them even under adverse weather conditions.
Also definitely pick up fresh scallops , crab cakes & shrimp. The seafood is outstanding at the market !
And the fresh corn and tomatoes from the farm stand are fabulous!
