We went in July and were so disappointed. We arrived at 4:40 and were seated within 10 minutes which was good. If we had been 5 minutes later we would have had a 45 minute wait. We felt very rushed to order and the food came out very quickly. Although the food was very good it was extremely noisy and a large group of drunk golfers were seated across from us. They were vulgar and rude. That really ruined it for us. It wasn’t just us that were annoyed another table of people next to us asked to be moved. We felt eating there it wasn’t worth it. To crazy and rushed to enjoy the good food. We were at skippers years ago off season and enjoyed our meal upstairs over looking the water. If you can, go off season.

We love Sea Dogs dining at the Skipper’s Seafood Market! Wonderful and friendly customer service. There is inside and outside dining, however, the weather will determine seating outside. Inside requires reservations. I had the most delicious maple syrup and soy glazed salmon. Highly recommend it! And their key lime pie!!!! Jersey corn, French fries, and corn bread come with all entrees. Many appetizers to choose from but you’ll love the jalapeño poppers!! Sea Dogs is a must stop on your way to and from LBI, NJ!

We lived in Manahawkin and always went to Skippers. Now we live in PA. We always go to Skippers when we go visit our children that still live there.They make the best Keylime pie, and we bought 2. One to eat one for the freezer.

Skippers looks like a snack shack off the beaten path in Jamaica on the side of road, but it's not, it's a great local family seafood market and casual outdoor dining spot with fresh delicious seafood, at reasonable prices, it's twice as much 10 miles up the road on LBI

The staff was super nice! It was crowded, but the staff handled everything with ease. Well run and organized. We got a free pie. Never liked key lime pie, but after trying thiers, I am now a fan!
