Tonewood Brewing - Barrington

It is always too loud in here when the bands are playing. I should not have to shout at the bartender to order. We had to go outdoors in the rain to escape the volume.

Also, if you have kids please don't let them run around and lay on the floor and trip patrons. Put your beer in a thermos and take them to the park like a civilized person.

First time here, googled a few breweries in this area and this place popped up so we came to visit. They have a parking lot on premises, very modern and updated facility, nice brewery. There is an upstairs and downstairs, as well as an outdoor area-very spacious brewery. Plenty of indoor seating. The Staff were nice, good beer, cool atmosphere. I would recommend.

Be cool. Buy local. Because this local spot is amazing. Fantastic beer. Fantastic people. Awesome atmosphere. Go here. Have a blast. I dare you.

Team is unprofessional and full of attitude. They tried stating that their children policy was clear and was that children must remain seated at all times. This is simply not true. And their team tried making up their own rules, when the owner wasn’t around and were rude about it. Wouldn’t waste my time at a place that cannot be inclusive and understanding.

This is such a great company. Great quality beer, facilities, and staff. Really appreciate that they are dog friendly. Love their policy on kids being seated with parent supervision. I don’t like going out to a predominantly alcohol serving establishment having to dodge running children and worry constantly as they annoy my dogs without their parents anywhere in sight.

Wow, I took Michael and Jillian (Son and Daughter in Law) to the Barrington location last night and had the best draft beer I ever had. It was called Poolside Lager and the vibe is exactly what us beer drinkers are looking for. Also, we needed to get something to eat and the bar tender told us to go to the rail tavern across the street for dinner. She said if they have a chicken special order that! She was right. I will come back often to your establishment! David

We enjoyed the Tonewood Brewing Barrington location. There is plenty of space both inside and outside (behind the brewery) for spending time with friends and family. Our group had a lot of little kids and we had a great time. The beer selection is good. You can bring your own food. Parkin is limited at the brewery itself, but you can park for free just a short walk away by the train tracks.

This place is always awesome. The parking is the hardest part.

True craft beer, and amazing staff in a warm and welcoming environment. First the staff…they make you feel welcome, and have extreme pride in their work. Friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good about everyone there. Now onto the beer. There is a wide selection that will meet any expectations. The product is crafted with absolute attention and respect to the craft. Not to mention the wide selection of canned beers that are on tap. Finally the brewery. Outstanding design and decor. Wishing all of you continued success and prosperity. Can’t wait to see you again.

Have never been so insulted in an establishment. Bartender seemed to be high and was slurring her words. Sat down at our table and told us we should close out our tab when it was already closed. Never experienced anything like that. This is an establishment I thought positively about. Insulted our parenting despite being clearly drunk. This will be my last time at tonewood
