The Grenville is a grand, old lady from the Victorian years of the 1890's. As owners of a house built in the 1760's, the Grenville, with its pink paint, gingerbread architectural decorations and huge front porch was at her best on a warm September evening. We ate dinner on the porch and the food was excellent and the server friendly, informative and attentive. The beet salad with Feta cheese and a vinegar forward dressing was fresh and well balanced. They offer beach bags and towels and bikes for free which is nice, breakfast was very underwhelming but that is standard for all hotels, I just assumed it wouldn’t be the case due to the fact that this is literally a restaurant as well.
