“Beet salad. Great. Linguine and clams, struck me as odd. The flavor was very good. Clams, good. Never had beans in my vongole. Don't know what I think about it. Also using out of season fresh tomatoes is never a good idea. My advice, lose the beans, switch to canned San marzano tomatoes and you got the real deal. But maybe that was the point. Not making it like everyone one else. A for effort!”

“Great food, a little pricey as dinner for 2 with a 20% tip came in just under $200 (and we brought our own wine). I had the lobster bisque and the crab cakes entree (more crab than the usual fillers you get). Wife went for the duck confit ravioli appetizer and the lollipop pork chops entree. Nice romantic atmosphere is an upgrade over the old basic Reddington's decor that was there a decade ago.”

“We placed a first-time online order. It was ready before the estimated time given. We ordered 3 large sandwiches and each could feed 2-3 people depending on the appetite.The bread had a great crustiness on the outside, while being light and fluffy inside. Tge cold cuts were thinly sliced and stacked high, just like we like them. The red potato salad was delicious!We all enjoyed our selections and will be sure to order again.”

“Nice dinner with family here tonight. Decided to get a hot meal instead of sushi and the Fish and Chips was off the charts. Super fresh, delicate and delicious, the fries were very good also. Shishito pepper app was amazing too. Very happy with the experience!”

“I had the Octopus and Calamari in a delicious broth. I enjoyed it very much. Two family members had the Scallops special and they said it was very good. The other family member had the pork chop special and he loved it. Try the muscles appetizer, it’s phenomenal!!! Our waitress was knowledgeable and very polite. The dining room is clean but a bit cramped. The place is a bit small and noisy but it was a nice meal. It’s a byob establishment, bring some wine or beer and have a good time.”

“We went to experience the famous burger. I was disappointed in the soggy bun. The onion gravy was delicious but made the bun fall apart and couldn't enjoy the cheese or the meat Maybe a harder roll would be better. The steak tartar was amazing seasoned and the parpadella small plate could eat as a meal. But the carrot cake OMG!! The BEST!! I would eat here again to get a very impressive salad and the carrot cake again!!”

“Words can't describe how good this place is. I drive 1.5 hours just to eat here. I've been to hundreds of restaurants, and Spanos is the only one I have ever been to that consistently provides the best hospitality. Chef Joe Spanos greets every table with a warm smile and some house appetizers. The food is out of this world... can't wait to come back again this summer!”

“I've never had pizza that tasted like it did ever before. It was almost novel at first, the sweetness of the pie. But as I kept eating, the bites got better and better. Our large pie was finished in about 10 minutes, maybe less! And the shrimp cocktail was on point too. Was easy to get a seat at the Lima bean shaped bar. It was fun to sit like that. Overall, great experience. Next time I'm back in NJ I'll be seein y'all!”

“My family and are from California. We’ve been a JBJ fan since the beginning. We were visiting our son who is stationed at McGuire AFB. We took a family trip to JBJ Soul Kitchen because we wanted to give donation to the community. The servers were all very welcoming. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed the experience. Would definitely come back the next time we are in town.”

“We enjoyed a lovely Ap. When our pizza came out late, we couldn’t stay, so our wonderful waitress arranged to have a gift card at the door for us. She felt bad that it took so long. Great environment, friendly bartenders who work hard to keep the place clean and comfortable, and great tasting fresh beer make this one of our go-to's. My wife has celiac but has choices with the terrific seltzers and one of her favs - Mermaid Punch. If you haven't yet, give this place a go - you won't be disappointed.”

“Adorable place. The 4 of us got breakfast here Easter Sunday. The tofu scramble was awesome no fake cheese or unnecessary ingredients. We enjoyed the crunch wrap and the waffle was insanely good you good tell it was fresh and it was dense. We also had the chick’n which we enjoyed and the tempeh bacon. After we did take home peanut butter and cookie doe truffles which were shockingly good. We will definitely be back and recommend this place highly.You pick up a menu at the entrance and order all up front and then the food comes out in to go boxes. You can eat there or outside seating”

“I first came here in October 2023 and had tacos de tripa. THE BEST. Honestly, these were the BEST tacos de tripa I have ever had in my whole life. I live 50 minutes way from here, but I came two more times in December to have their tacos de tripa. It’s worth the drive. I will be a returning customer for sure. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean, warm, well decorated with Mexican artifacts and decorations. I love this place.Gracias por su buen trato y los mejores tacos de tripa en Nueva Jersey. “Saw some banners on the road for Spire and decided to stop in to give it a try. So glad I did. Decadent coffee drinks and desserts. And. And. And. They also sell Ob-Co donuts. Doesn’t get much better than that. Coffee was really smooth and tasty. Crumb cake was amazingly fresh. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a calm and cool place to enjoy a coffee with friends. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.”
