The gentleman, Andrea, was so super sweet. He took VERY GOOD care of us when the waiter was busy. He went from table to table, taking care of everyone. The service here is better than the high-end restaurants in Manhattan. I initially thought he was the owner, but he informed us that he was the manager. Andrea needs to get his restaurant because he will be so successful. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant. Great food great drinks, and great service! I would come here again because of Andrea's service.

Went there for a birthday dinner. Wonderful food, even more amazing atmosphere and lovely staff that are friendly and attentive.
Had the calamari which might have been the best I've ever had. The ribeye was okay, not the best I've had but still good. The spicy rigatoni was surprisingly really good.
Overall definitely recommend and will go back!

The chef came out and greeted us and said that he was changing the menu. Apparently he was the new chef great restaurant great ambience only one suggestion they should have someone in the bathroom attending the bathroom.

Americano in Bayonne is, without a doubt, the best Italian restaurant in Bayonne and Jersey City, maybe in all Hudson County.
Owned by the amazing Andre, the atmosphere feels authentically American with posters of iconic singers, while the food transports you straight to Italy. The live jazz band on Tuesdays is an added treat that used to take me all the way to Brooklyn, but now it’s right in my neighborhood!
Whether I’m enjoying the perfect cheesecake and pastries in the morning, served by the lovely barista Jazz, or ending dinner with their fantastic Italian gelato, Americano never disappoints. It’s my favorite spot throughout the day.
