I just had this place for the first time today after moving to Bayonne a couple of years ago. I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner! Fish sandwich was the best and I bought two Turkey burgers and I just ate the second one cold it was so good! The hooded gem of Bayonne! Finally a place that’s affordable and has great food and service. In addition I got Mac and cheese and the curry which was a lot of food for only 37$ family of four was fed and still leftovers. Not many places like this anymore. It’s like getting off your mom made.

This place is a hidden gem. Led by Mama Christina and her daughter Debbie, their fish sandwich was delicious, stewed chicken melted in your mouth and homemade mac and cheese, and potato salad were tasty. Their friendliness is on par with their food. I’ll be going back, for sure
Ordered jerk chicken with rice and cabbags and a beef patty and both were fantastic! Everything was so flavorful and the staff was so nice. The homemade pepper sauce was great too! 100% worth the price, I will definitely be returning.
