I drove by this place recently and wanted to check it out after reading all the reviews here. The pros: Sandwich came as good as advertised. I mean it even left a good taste in my mouth for hours afterward. I got a turkey sub with mozzarella and veggies.The cons: While there's a certain amount of old school/old world appeal here that I enjoyed the lack of stable pricing for sandwiches I wasn't a fan of. I'm not going to accuse these guys of ripping me off but comparing what I ordered to what some people did here though does make me wonder a little.At any rate this place is one of a kind!

Old school deli that's worth the trip just to talk to the owner! I was going to the Giants game and went a little bit out of my way (by about 45 minutes or so) to stop by and get some sandwiches for the tailgate. I know, I normally grill but I wasn't in the mood. They were delicious with meat piled to the sky! Would definitely stop by again!

The first time I went there I paid $20 for a sandwich and two and a water. Second time I spent two sandwiches $30. How do they make sense and the test the money and the sandwich are the same time will be going there never again and sanitary, not clean at all the touch the money and the sandwiches is disgusting ? ???

A friend of mine grew up in Bayonne and when I mentioned loving Italian Subs, he said, "I got you" and within a week I had a rather large Italian sub delivered to my house by said friend. It was fresh and delicious. I will be back and I will get another variation of their italian meats and cheeses inside freshly baked bread.
