I couldn't believe I paid $6.50 for a pork roll egg and cheese on a hard roll. The sandwich came with two thin slices of pork roll, one egg and one slice of cheese. The sandwich was all bread. They need to step up and actually put some meat on the sandwich and maybe two eggs. When I grabbed it felt like a fat sandwich in the aluminum foil but like I said it was all bread. I actually gave $1.50 tip so I spent $8 for a little skinny sandwich. They need to step up and start making some real sandwiches for breakfast. I took a picture of the sandwich cut in half so all my friends on Facebook so they could see how poorly the sandwich was made. Everybody criticized how it looks so bad. If you are going to charge top dollar for a breakfast sandwich then it should be a top dollar breakfast sandwich

I ordered chorizo , and eggs and cheese, with a side a beef bacon. They didn't tell me til i got they had only turkey bacon. Chorizo was not even a whole chorizo it was half a whole. Last time i had them i had two whole chorizo. And looks like only one egg with cheese i paid 15 plus a 5 tip for this. Disappointed

In the words of my child, "it's too hard to bite into" regarding the cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese she ate this morning. No it wasn't even toasted.
The bread of my breakfast sandwich also had somewhat of an old, stale texture to it.
If you want your business to thrive & survive, you'd stop cutting corners to save a nickel here and there. Fresh bread if ALWAYS the key to any sandwich. I do enjoy the lower prices, however people like myself enjoy quality as well.
There's a reason why Hot & Toasty Bagels is always busy & running out of rolls by 11am. Even though their prices are a bit higher, the quality of the sandwich is excellent. I think once you ruin your reputation, it's difficult to rebuild it in such a small town.
Customer service is also paramount. If you aren't even remotely friendly, you're giving off bad vibes.

Broadway Hot Bagels has taken a nosedive in quality over the years. Their bagels have shrunk to a laughable size—more like mini’s. And forget about those stacked Taylor ham and cheese sandwiches from the past; now, you’re lucky if you get anything more than a sad, thin layer. To top it off, the service comes with nothing but attitude. It’s a far cry from what it used to be, and at this point, it’s just not worth the trip.

It's unfortunate that no matter how simple the order is, it will be wrong every time. I've tolerated it for years because the food is good but yesterday I ordered 2 bagel sandwiches and 1 drink...it was $23 and only one bagel was in the bag. The manager wouldn't get on the phone and I didn't have time to stop before work so I got beat again. It's happened countless times and it's just a matter of not caring to check the receipt with what's in the bag. Customer service, accuracy and not wasting people's time and money is important...you can walk a few blocks in any direction in Bayonne and get a bagel so their lack of care will eventually catch up with them.
IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY, I was going to leave it alone, but here we go...Your response shows your poor customer service. Of course, mistakes happen, and yes, I used Uber Eats. Knowing that your customers are paying extra and that a driver isn't going to return if something is missing or incorrect, you should take 1 min to double check the order. If you even looked at the receipt, you would've known that 1 bagel and a drink wasn't $23, so obviously something's missing. I've been going there for years and almost every time something in my order is wrong, I just usually let it go because it's minor and not worth going back. But there's no doubt, when I order for my whole family, someone's order is going to be wrong. Anything from from not toasting the bagel, adding ketchup when I asked for no ketchup, bacon instead of sausage...like I said, little things but they add up. So for your response to be anything other than I apologize, is bad business. And you telling me I can come pick it up and how to contact Uber for a refund isn't the point. I know I can drive there myself and I know how to contact Uber. The point was I paid extra because I didn't have time to stop and it ended up costing me more time and money because someone was too lazy to put 2 bagels in a bag. Also, I asked to speak to the owner or manager. You put me on hold, came back and said he's not available. So if you're the manager, that's a another problem. My intention was not put you on blast or go back and forth. I typically only take time to write a good review for places that have great service. But its been years and I was hoping you'd take it as advice to be better. Instead you chose to respond with language like, "first of all" and insinuate that I was lying about all of the incorrect orders. Again, it just shows your lack of care and respect for your customers. I'm done and won't be wasting any more of my time responding. It's already ridiculous that I spent this much time but it had to be said.

Rude. You have 4/5 people behind the counter and not really paying too much attention for orders being picked up. And then the young lady behind the counter is RUDE… I gave her my name for the order, then she asked me what was it under ? What? My name HUGE on the receipt, does it matter? She was RUDE !!!!

STAY AWAY..FAR AWAY! I've been to many bagels spots and this by far is the worse. The customer service is sub par and non welcoming, the food not good. I purchased a bacon, egg over easy and cheddar on a scooped out whole wheat. I opened it up and what I received was a dry overcooked bacon and well done egg sandwich and let's not even mention what I saw. I saw the one worker hand the cook (who wasn't wearing any gloves) my cheese. This is disgusting and unsanitary. I can only imagine the rest of this place and how it must be. It's no wonder they only got 4.2 stars as opposed to other places in town.

My husband and I use to love getting bagels from here… unfortunately today when we ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel, the bagel was stale, there was only 1 piece of meat and it was over cooked. My bacon egg and cheese on a roll came with 1 egg and 1 piece of bacon… all I tasted was bread and ketchup. Really disappointing. The prices need to either be reduced or they need to add more to the sandwich’s because paying $6-$7 each for a sandwich is not worth it at all when you are getting mostly bread ….
