Buon Appetito is a new restaurant and bar in Bayonne that offers amazing Italian and soul food. The garlic bread and gravy are loved by many customers, but the smoked turkey wings, collards, mac & cheese, and yams are also a hit. The $5 house salad is small, while the $7 roasted vegetable dish can be too oily for some. The bartenders are friendly, and the smooth jazz creates a nice atmosphere. The bar area is a bit cramped, but the staff is professional, attentive, and personable. Parking is surprisingly easy to find, and the service is quick - although some dishes could have been hotter. Overall, Buon Appetito is a great spot to enjoy delicious food with friends and family.
