My companion and I both ordered the same Main dish but with different sides. Her red snapper came out 10 minutes before mine with no sides. Then her one side, a salad came out. I still did not have mine. Then they brought out my main dish and a couple of minutes later brought out one of my sides. by this time, my companion was already eating her lukewarm food due to her hunger. Finally, they brought her second side. My second side was nowhere in sight and no one came to check. Finally I called over my server to tell her I still did not have my second side, and she informed me that the yams were cooking . I then asked if I can change to something that was ready and I changed it to macaroni and cheese. Both my companion and I were towards the end of our meal and I still did not have my second side. Eventually, another server who came on shift , started to check on our satisfaction. I told her about the fact that I had not received my second side order. She comes back about 5 minutes later and brings me the yams that I had originally ordered. By this time I had finished my meal and was not interested in eating anymore. The yams were the only thing that came out hot. Everything else was lukewarm. This was a really bad experience and I'm hoping that this comment will help them to do better.
Decided to give the owners a chance , as I’ve been a loyal customer for years . I purchased pene vodka grilled with chicken $27 . I could not eat this meal as the food was soaked in oil and the chicken was not fully cooked . Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

First time in the place since new owners young kid that took care of me was polite and pleasant food was good however I ordered smoked turkey wings and was given only one turkey wing for $28.82 way over priced I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt being a Bayonne resident but I felt robbed at that price for one turkey wing and I can’t afford to eat like that regardless of my desire for (soul) southern food.wont be going back please don’t confuse this place as a Italian rest or a soul food reasturant it’s basically bar food

Me and my girlfriend just left there. She told me about this spot so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered turkey wings, mac&cheese, and collard greens. She ordered whatever else. I get home and was very disappointed in what I received. Im thinking it's gonna be a nice size platter, I should have know when I grabbed the bag and it was light. I get a plastic container with just 1 turkey wing in it, it has no taste at all, very bland and they put the season on top afterwards. 2 small plastic containers with 2 teaspoons of Mac & cheese and collard greens in each one. The menu said turkey wings with gravy, where the hell is the gravey, it had a little juice that looked like oil, smh. Than people wonder why you don't support them and wanna charge these outrageous prices for these dinners and the food is trash and or they don't give you enough for your money. $25, just went down the toilet, and the food bout to do the same. I really don't feel like taking it back. That was my first and my last eating out of there, I would never. I should have went to RINGSIDE like I started too. Definitely would have got my monies worth and enough food for tomorrow.

I really want to comment on how clean this restaurant really is. If you are picky when it comes to eating out, this one’s for you. I wish all the restaurants took a lesson from this restaurant.
