The instant oatmeal and small bagels can be found at ShopRite I got the same while grocery shopping. The drinks are not great and the customer service is horrible . I once waited a long time for a drink just for the two employees and their child to finish talking to their friend, then when I asked they completely forgot my order. If they hired more professional people maybe the vibe will be a little better ? No smiles or anything just looks like the barista doesn’t want to be there

Best coffee in Bayonne! I'm a big fan of Cafe 26. The service is always excellent, the ladies at the register are always very kind and again the coffee, I thoroughly enjoy. This comes from a coffee enthusiast. Try anything, I'm sure it'll be great! I've tried multiple drinks, none disappoint. My fave (right now lol) cafe con leche, delicious!

Coffee/latte doesn't taste good at all, don’t waste your money there. Also, it’s overpriced for the quality of the drinks. Advice is to invest in the quality of the Coffee and bring exprienced baristas.

Meh, I may try them again but my first impression was not great. I ordered a hot latte that was served lukewarm at best and was more of a milk steamer than an actual coffee beverage. My husband ordered a hot chocolate that tasted like a sad watered down swiss miss packet and was given at the same cool temp as my latte. Barista wasn’t much help as they disappeared after we got our drinks so we went home to microwave and doctor up our drinks. Maybe they’re used to ice coffee orders? With the cafe prices, I had high hopes but there’s serious room for improvement with the hot beverage quality.

Nice place, pleasant atmosphere, convenient location. Pastry was very good, coffee not so much. Very strong, needed much more milk & sugar as it was just not palatable.
Super nice and cozy, the pan con mantequillo is so good, really good bread and butter and obviously the coffee is good too. I'm from out of state and this was definitely worth the visit!

I'm not the type of customer to write bad reviews, but I had to for this one. I dont think I've ever encountered a rude barista, but the girl with tattoos was completely unprofessional and didn't even look like she wanted to even be there or serve customers. Another thing I wanted to point out is that the coffee she also made was awful compared to the usual coffee I get here from the other baristas. The owners of this establishment should know how their employees' attitudes are. I'm not sure if this barista in particular received any criticism from anyone else, but I wanted to put this out there.

Stopped in with the intention to buy gift cards for work. Sat down with my kids for coffee and donuts. One donut was rock hard told the cashier.I asked if she could refund it or switch it. She said she could heat it up. It was still inedible. I didn't buy any gift cards.

I run a very popular chess club, 'The Bayonne Chess Society & Club in Bayonne. I went in for a cup of coffee and a turnover. Place is very homey and chill. Spoke to the owner. Asked if we could run chess lessons there. She said no problem. They also have a trivia and game night. I suggested a few ideas for other event nights for them. She'll be adding those to her community schedule.Highly recommend. If any wants to learn chess, or even play some D&D, reach out to the owners. I also run a Dungeons and Dragons club. We play chess in different locations. Cafe 26 is one of our spots. We have a huge group, and we're getting bigger. So, we need different venues
