I have visited Charley’s Bayonne twice and both times I had a positive experience.

The first time I was there I dined-in. They have a huge dine in area with lots of tables. The order was ready within 10 minutes and my wife and I enjoyed our Philly cheesesteaks.

I downloaded their app and created an account which gave me a $5 credit for my next purchase so I ordered through the app and picked up. This time I ordered a Bacon Cheesesteak which was also tasty. As soon as I arrived (approximately 10 minutes after I had placed the order) the order was ready and properly packed with each cheesesteak in a separate box (much better than Subway’s packaging). I also ordered a side of cheese sauce but I do not recommend it. It was cold and tasteless, much different than Wendy’s cheese sauce.

Both times I visited were on a weekend early afternoon and both times the place was dead. I’m not sure if it gets busier later or during weekdays but I hope this business survives because I definitely recommend it.

You can expect to pay between 8 and 13 for your cheesesteak depending on the size. They also offer wings and other types of sandwiches.

Poor customer service! I ordered a shake and one employee calls me saying the machine is not working and then my fries were missing from my ordered when it was delivered and then when I asked for a refund the employee says "the best they can do is give me free fries next time I order" so he puts his manager on the phone who says he says he can refund the fries but not the shake because they ran out of milk and cleaning the machine.... So which is it ? The machine is broken or they just didn't want to make it? At this point I don't even know if I'm getting my refund, but I will never be going back.

I am very bothered an un pleased by the staff. I walked into the restaurant at 920pm the store closes at 930pm and the young lady at the register that refused to give me her name said there not making any sandwiches because there closed but clearly im in the store. So i ask for a manager and they say there is no manager on duty. How is there establishment running with no manager. She then speaks in Spanish to her coworker. He comes over he says they are closed but the door is still open, he can't do nothing for me. So I ask what his name he walks away. I ask the girl and she screams to him whats his name, real funny so she lies and says Jose because when he walked back I ask him again and he some name in Spanish that I can't pronounce. That was disrespectful to me and rude. Very poor service and that staff needs to be reevaluated.

Charley's Philly cheesesteaks sandwich is the best Philly cheesesteak you'll ever taste. Since they opened in Bayonne and we're always here. Kids loved their kids' meals. And the best drink is the strawberries lemonade. Highly recommended to eat their delicious foods. You won't regret it. Thank you.

The worst food I ever got. The grill wasn’t clean very very bad costumer service. The food was horrible and not fresh everything was really bad.
