Terrifying I was ordered Shrimp with tostones and it was the worst service, I never saw before a black tostones were burnt and hard and the shrimp in a horrible sauce. The worst experience I had was last night when my order arrived and the worst thing is that I called to complain and they told me to order somewhere else.

My family and I visited this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was delicious, and the ambiance of the place was lovely, creating a nice atmosphere for the occasion. However, my experience was slightly dampened by the service. Unfortunately, both the hostess and our waitress were not particularly friendly, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. What was most surprising, though, was that we were automatically charged an 18% gratuity. Despite this, the service did not reflect the tip we were charged. Our waitress was inattentive and distant throughout the meal—she never checked in on us or offered to refill our drinks, which is something I would expect from any server. Although the food and atmosphere were great, the lackluster service left much to be desired. Though this seems to be a great local spot, we will not return.

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday and we had a nice time even though at first they put your glass of water and some nachos to snack on what we ordered. I asked for my glass to be changed since it was dirty and the waitress changed it and I'm only saying this because they have to pay close attention to any detail.
Parking: the place looks spacious
Kid-friendliness: They have some varieties in children's food
Wheelchair accessibility: For people in wheelchairs I didn't see any ramp but it is just a step to access the restaurant and I don't think there will be a problem loading the person

I went here a few years ago and was in love with the food. But my husband and I ordered and the waiter told us, “I think you guys may want to order less.” Even though we planned to take some home as leftovers. So we haven’t been back until today. We get there, waiter brings over water. Doesn’t ask what other drinks we may want, doesn’t take our order we had to call him over to order. Food comes and then we aren’t seen for over an hour. Had to ask for to go plates, and the bill 2 times. Then they charge us for something we didn’t order. That was corrected. But based on the service I willl never go here again. Also the place got to be freezing from them opening back door constantly.

The service provided by our server was outstanding, marked by politeness and attentiveness. The veggie quesadillas and Mexican-style burger were notable highlights. Furthermore, the staff accommodated our request for a mango passion fruit drink. One aspect that struck us as unusual was the presence of a photographer taking pictures of diners, including our children. Later, the photographer offered the printed photos in frames for $20. While the pictures were endearing, it would have been preferable to have been informed about this practice beforehand, as we initially thought the photos were intended perhaps for their business promotions.

Food is really tasty but customer service at the door horrible. My pick up order was supposedly packed in 2 bags, nasty server gave my only 1 white bag (2nd , black bag was nowhere there), after i left i called her, she gave me attitude over the phone saying the black bag was there. It wasnt, becuase she was the one who handled me the bag and if the bag was there i would have left with 2 bags.
Then she lied that she called me when i showed her my phone with no missed called from her she didnt say anything. Good thing i didnt tip (which is ridiculous to be asking for tips on to go orders when you dont even have a chance to see what you got or didnt get, or taste it)

This has been a go-to spot for me for years. Best ambiance in Bayonne and definitely the best Mexican food in tiwn also. Over the years, I've pretty much tried everything on the menu. My go-to is the Mexican quesadilla with carne enchilada and the Orange sauce (if you like spicy food)

However, I was disappointed with the free nachos—they were served cold and didn’t taste freshly prepared. In authentic Mexican restaurants, I've had nachos that were hot and freshly made, so I was expecting the same but was let down. Additionally, only tomato sauce was served with the nachos, lacking the chili sauce that typically accompanies them in authentic establishments. The beer was served only medium chilled, which was also a bit of a letdown. On the bright side, the appetizers and entrées were tasty and met my expectations but again sizzler ain’t sizzling when it hit the table which is again a dull endeavor. The pricing is decent, and the restaurant is a good spot for family gatherings, especially with their long tables.

Me and a couple of co workers came here after an early day of work to eat some lunch and have a drink for the day. It started off great. Our waiter came took drink orders and appetizers as well. Both came out in a timely manner. About a half hour passed while We were chit chatting and having a great time. when another large group came in and got seated. I noticed our waiter going to take there food and drink orders as well. Some time had passed again and the other tables drinks, appetizers, and entrees came out. My coworkers all looked at each other at the same time and I called our initial waiter over. We asked how much longer our food would take and he told us any minute now. I was a bit confused as to why it took so long when we ordered fairly simple items like quesedillas,tacos, flautas, and enchiladas. We ended up waiting another 40 minutes. I have to say I will not be returning. Although food was good....i feel like the waiter either forgot to put our food in, or the order was put in very late. Bottom line me and my friends were expecting to be there 1 1/2 tops and we ended up arriving at 2:40 to leave at 4:53...it was crazy how long we waited for simple menu items. Will not go again.
