Fluffies Hot Chicken - Bayonne

Great food!! Went there for the first time!

Great tasting high quality chicken in a unique style. I love the menu!

I saw a picture of a large, juicy looking chicken sandwich, which was from Fluffies in Bayonne. We went there, and here's my review. I thought it was a soulfood place, but they are from Pakistan.

It's a small clean takeout restaurant and I must say the young lady with the reddish hair was very friendly and helpful.

I ordered the chicken sandwich ($14) with pickles, etc. which was pretty good on a roll. However, it was dark looking, meaning the oil was old. 1-10 scale 8.5

Next was a chicken sandwich on a biscuit ($12). I think they forgot to add another piece of chicken. It was a portion for a child. 1-10 scale 6

Next was large chicken wings ($11 for 6 pieces). They were bbq and Buffalo sauce, which were actually very good. 1-10 scale 9

Overall, we liked the place because it was clean and could seat about 20 people. Would we go back? Yes, but I would have to check the portions before we left. Look them up.

Their food is excellent, but I just there to pick up my order but the worker who I came across was really rude and disrespectful, her behavior was complete and utterly unprofessional, for the quality of food they serve they should teach their workers to be a bit more welcoming and don’t create a toxic environment for their paying customers.

Food wise, this place is 100% an A+. Been going here for a year and they are always on point from a food and service lens. Today unfortunately, the service was horrible. I’d also add that there were two new receptionist there compared to the usual ones that are there (and they are always on point). 1. The two young ladies didn’t look like they wanted to be there or help, and had the line accumulating while they packed pickup orders. The original team always handled this with grace, rotating packing and ordering so you’re not left standing there just waiting to place the order.

2. I ordered a milkshake that the kitchen had finished making. When asked if I can have my milkshake while waiting on my food, she said no, because she wasn’t sure that was mine. I then asked if she can just check the receipt on the order to which her response was that there is no receipt until the order is completed … make that make sense please (someone, anyone). I’m a calm individual so I let it be. But I sat there and watched the milkshake melt away because she was too lazy to check the receipt. The other girl even picked up a phone call and just walked out.

Service was at 7:50pm on 10/27/24 at the Bayonne location.

Want to stress this isn’t the typical experience and to reiterate, the service and food are always typically on point.

Great Amazing food fast service wonderful staff

I drove from staten island to try this restaurant and was extremely let down. I was the only person in the restaurant and they messed up 2 of my orders, the cashiers are distracted and don’t pay attention. By the time i realized i was already home and when i called , the manager only offered me 10% off my next purchase. Very bad way of doing business would not recommend. Manager extremely rude and unprofessional
