every time i get anything from here, i've been pretty disappointed either from the service or the quality of the food itself. i also never was happy with the coffee, even the milkshakes are a bit disappointing and i tend to avoid getting anything from here as often as i can, i just go down the street. though the sweet crepes are pretty good. but on a separate note, no carriers for drinks??
edit: changed to one star. somehow the coffee always tastes burnt. i've given this place many chances.

The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t write many reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience especially because Bayonne is a small town. I dined there last night . There was one person behind the counter that was extremely busy with walk in to go orders for crepes and desserts. There was no other employee there to help ! We waited 45 mins for a salad and a gallete. There was no other table waiting for food . We finally got the food when I walked up to the counter to tell her if it wasn’t ready we were leaving .
She grabbed the food momentarily after .
Served the food and we still hadn’t gotten the water and ice tea yet . We finished dinner and then she brought the drinks over .
Never once was she able to come even ask if we needed anything or I’f the food was ok .
Not her fault as the owner should NOT have 1 person in their establishment by themselves!! I will never patronize this place again . Worst experience ever .

I didn't like the eggplant lasagna. However, the cheesecake, oh my, I've truly never in my life tasted one as delicious as their Brulee cheesecake!!! I'm not exaggerating it's SO GOOD that i want to give them 10 stars!!!

Very nice little place on the side of Bayonne you don't often see. Worth the trip! Excellent service. No alcohol. Food was good, but the menu is definitely different. Excellent coffees and pastries.
Kid-friendliness: It's a family place. We went for the live music, which might not be great for kids.

Fabulous dinner at LA Branche. Fresh Salmon, perfect crepes, yummy crab cakes and delicious cappuccino. The broccoli soup was some of the best I've ever had - super fresh. Our server Nora was great. Spotless clean, warm and inviting local spot. We will be back.

I went to La Branche Bistro & Cafe at 194 Broadway in Bayonne, NJ on February 21 with my good friend Terry. It is Mediterranean style cuisine. We were mesmerized by the Shakshouka egg lunch, their frothy delicious iced coffee and their Crepe Suzette dessert. It was all delicious beyond words. Server Johanna was quite well-versed in all the dishes and personable as well. Compliments to chef Ana S. on the food preparation. We will surely be going back soon.

La Branche*
Anything you could possibly think to wrap in a crepe, gets wrapped in a crepe for you to enjoy!
Sitting not atop an actual tree, La Branche's name, is, in fact—misleading. This matters not—as you'll be too lost in the cloud like fluffiness of the crepe dishes, to actually care.
Live music often plays as you enjoy whatever it was that you might've thought was a good idea, (seafood?) to wrap in a crepe that day.
*Lovely atmosphere and people, decent pricing, great food.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level. Easy entry.
Recommended dishes: Strawberry Banana Nutella Crepe

Everything about La Branche is excellent. From the eggs and bacon breakfast to sweet crepes to the cappuccino to the thin sliced potatoes and delicious side salad. Continued compliments are not enough. The service is as excellent as the food. Employees are kind , courteous and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. Go now to enjoy a unique breakfast or brunch experience.
Parking: Free street parking on Sundays, there have been five or more spots within a block radius each.
