La Guardiola Gourmet Pizzeria & Bistro

PLEASE READ, I recently moved to Bayonne and I have been going here faithfully for a couple of months since moving and always had a good experience UNTIL TODAY when my partner Ariana tried to order Chicken Vodka penne and the worker was extremely rude and nasty, saying that chicken was the entree and the pasta was the side??? Since when is that a piece of grilled chicken a whole entre? And the serving of pasta was TINY for $25 that’s ridiculous! That’s the last time we order or dine from there

I ordered a sausage sandwich last night and a chicken parm dinner, I've lived in Bayonne since 04 visit all the pizzeria there is. Until last night at Guardiolas! Never Again will I eat food from that spot, yuckkkk. No place like pizza Master's. Guardiolas must change their cooks. Horrible.

This place is the definition of price gouging. $17 bucks for a garden salad with a piece of grilled chicken. Didn’t even get a drink. Do not recommend. It’s an everyday pizzeria charging 5 star steakhouse prices.

Ordered from here & the pizza was EXTREMELY overcooked. On top of overcooked it tasted cheap. Mozzarella sticks were a really bad texture & also tasted cheap. Really disappointing, wouldn’t recommend

Let me start by saying I did not get to try their pizza. This review is to warn other customers of their "very insteresting" way of running business and credit card payments. I placed my order for pickup through their website and paid using my card. I wanted my husband to pick it up for me. Immediately after I have received a phone call from this lady asking me for more information, such as spelling of my name, zip codes, etc. Then she proceeded saying that I have to provide a photo ID at the time of pickup matching the name on the card and matching thr zip code on the order. What?!? I was ordering 2 personal pies for myself and my husband, the order was like $30 bucks.
I am surprised she did not ask me to bring my SS card to pick up the pizza ?

Friendly helpful people and quick service. Bowl of Mixed bean soup + a dish of steamed broccoli =$18.02 .

I moved to Bayonne 12 years ago and I’ve walked past this restaurant so many times. So many other pizza restaurants come highly regarded so I never really gave La Guardiola a try. I do have a few “go to” spots in town for pizza and wings night. After recent disappointments with food quality, customer service, and bad delivery experiences, I was ready to try something new. We were really hungry so I searched for a close by restaurant with decent pizza and wings menu options and La Guardiola fit the bill. We ordered a Margherita Pizza with Plain Wings. The food arrived fast, fresh, and hot, so I was already happy. The pizza looked amazing and so did the wings. The wings were huge, crispy, and well seasoned. Hands down my new favorite wings in Bayonne. The pizza was good. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side where I like my sauce a bit more on the salty side but it was really tasty and the crust had a nice crisp to it. I am looking forward to trying other menu items in the future but La Guardiola is now my new “Go To” for pizza and wings night. So good!

The front door has been broken and so it's freezing cold and staff is afraid to tell owner. They said call him on Tuesday cause he is here all day Tuesday.

Do NOT order the Carbonara, it's soup on a dish and with ZERO Pancetta or Guanciale.. If you are Italian you know what to expect. Definitely not here for sure. But I can not argue about the pizza and other menu items.
