Paella is good but some of their other dishes were a bit too bland. Also not the first time they overcharge me and when I questioned them if their menu prices were updated they said yes so I asked why was I being overcharged? Manager (guy) got an attitude instead of apologizing. This isn’t the first time either but I’m appalled by how often he does that. Please double check your total before paying!!!! The ladies are always nicer than the guys working there, but very upset with last visit none the less.

This is my first time here and it was excellent! From the staff to the food. The food was amazing and the price was extremely fair. The staff was super attentive and friendly, constantly making sure everything was up to standard and cracking a few jokes. I will continue to come here!

My fiancée and I don’t frequent Bayonne enough but to visit a good friend once in a while we will. This past Sunday we went to see a good friend and her mom. After leaving her, we decided to see what Bayonne had to offer. We stopped in this establishment. The female bartender looked like she didn’t want to be disturbed. She was not engaging at all. Then there was two personnel sitting on the left corner of the bar. One of them I assume worked there and was socializing with a customer. Everytime they said the phrase la morena they kept looking at my fiancée. They said three times on the third time my fiancée felt so uncomfortable she walked out. I walked out right after her. For an establishment like that we feel that is extremely disrespectful. A total disregard unfortunately we will not visit that place again after this experience.

A Mediterranean Gem in Bayonne 🍷

Popped into Mediterraneo recently and was properly impressed. The bar setup is stunning - vintage vibes with this gorgeous old cash register and bottles for days. Had their lobster which was cooked spot on, sweet meat just sliding out of the shell. Their tiramisu was proper Italian style, rich layers of coffee soaked sponge and that silky mascarpone cream, topped with a perfect dusting of cocoa. Great spot for date night or fancy dinner with mates. Really surprised to find such quality in Bayonne, definitely worth checking out. Bit posh but prices won't make your eyes water.

Ordered the filet mignon medium and it came to table raw inside. Sent it back to have it cooked some more and it appeared again in the table 3 minutes later. It was still rare but I decided I could eat it. Took one bite and spit it out. It tasted really bad like rotten meat and was so mushy that it turned into paste in my mouth. My son took a small bite and thought the same. Upon further examination the smell was terrible and I was able to almost mash it with my fork. Another person in my party ordered seafood in green sauce and there were 2 clams and 3 mussels that didn’t have any meat in them. Just the shells. Daughter-in-law had chicken franchaise and the chicken was drowning in a giant pool of sauce. They were gracious enough to take the filet mignon off the bill. This place is also way too expensive. Charged $12 each (no refills) for a pitcher of Diet Coke that was about 50 ounces. I used to eat at this place when I lived in Bayonne and continued to visit even after I moved 20 minutes away. Place has never been the same since the original owner sold and this will definitely be my final visit

Unfortunately this Saturday, September 21, 24, we went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, we ordered the food, it took more than 1 hour and when they brought the food, wow, all the food was bad, my wife's salmon was super greasy, I ordered a well-cooked steak and they brought it raw and I couldn't enjoy it, they took it to the kitchen as calmly as possible and didn't even say an apology, they should have refunded my money because they didn't serve the food as ordered, we will never return to this restaurant and Please think about giving me my money back ?

This place is nostalgic. You feel like your in a small restaurant in Spain somewhere.. The Spanish Omelet is fantastic, almost like I was eating my grandmothers. The fish is great, the octopus is so fresh... Coming back soon to try there Filet tips I heard they're phenomenal.
