Hands down some of the best Ribs I've ever ate and that's coming from some one that travels the country for a living and I'm always trying new food from the locals and the Pot & Lid took the cake! when it comes to set of smoked ribs the baked bean and Mac & and cheese makes you want to slap your mama!! there that good anyway on a serious tip I will always stop by the pot & lid whenever I'm in jersey!!
This food truck is a gastronomic lifesaver in Jersey Port area. Susie and Douglas are the cutest, giving us little samples of their smoked Mac and cheese (Friday special!) that inspired me to buy a whole box. They were super accommodative when I said I was vegetarian and made me a delicious grilled cheese and tomatoes on a Texas toast!Yet to try the coffee cake muffin I took home, but I’m sure with the toasting tip from Susie it’s bound to be good!
The best thing about this place is that everything is made fresh to the order, and or made fresh that day. Their portions are more than generous and at a great price. Don't mess with Doug when it comes to smoked foods, this man is a Pit Master especially when it comes to his Smoked BBQ Ribs and Smoked Mac and Cheese.
