Pepe and Leo have made Rincon an icon of dining for nearly 40 years in Bayonne. Quality and quantity of food is amazing! Wilson at the bar is Top Shelf! Love, love, love Rincon de Espana!!!

Stopped by for a lunch on a weekday and the restaurant wasn't very busy but that was just fine for us. Our waiter Brent must of had one too many and he was sent home and replaced with a more seasoned waiter. The food was quite good - paella Valencia and shrimp in green sauce was our order for lunch. The food is served family style with a side of vegetables, rice and thin sliced fried potatoes. There is also a soup served with the meal which was a nicely done homemade chicken soup. The prices are completely reasonable and the atmosphere is a throwback to the Italian style restaurants of NJ in the 1980s. Would definitely come back, hope Brent didn't have too bad of a hangover!

I have been going there for years. Our family loves it. The food is great & inexpensive. I highly recommend it.
Garlic shrimp is a must and the garlic chicken & the garlic potatoes. The sangria is excellent as well. Oh, it's served home style. You order a dish and you get rice, vegetables & soft potato chips. You always have leftovers. Go. You won't regret it.

Came here for Paella and sangria. Sangria was bitter. Had to ask to fix it. Paella was watery and flavorless. I've never tasted something so nasty. Usually the soup is complimentary but they charged me because I disliked the food. If you lifted the rice up you'd see water pour out of the rice. Only positive was our waiter. Do not recommend this place.

Soup de jour + filet of sole entree with 3 sides =$21.35. Entrees here are large enough to serve 2 people but there is a charge for an extra plate. Also, ask for the food to arrive hot otherwise it will be at room temperature. There is extremely limited selection of vegetables.
