Love this place. The food is excellent and in Bayonne there's no other restaurant that serves fresh fish. I've been here like three times in the last couple of weeks. Highly recommend if you're a seafood foodie.

I tried the “Seafood mix with fries” and I ordered the Homemade Lemonade. Everything was amazing, the service was incredible and fast. Also the person there (not sure it was the owner) was sure nice as well.

We placed an order for pick up and had to turn around and go back to ask for a properly filled lobster roll, and they stoll hardly filled the roll. When I got home, I also realized that the corn on the cob I ordered was missing. The fish and chips were fine... no sauce provided. On top top of that, they weren't very responsive to my husband and wouldn't hand him the order. I guess they expected him to reach across the counter? My husband had to explicitly ask for them to give him the order if it was ready, after already letting them know he was there for a pick up. Really disappointing considering we pass by this place a lot and would have loved to keep supporting them.

Just ordered some chicken fingers and fries.. the chicken fingers was overcooked and the fries had a piece of hair on them. I never had a problem with them but today … he had the nerve to be nasty about the situation.. it’s called common courtesy…. Next time wear a hair net.. ????

Two stars cause the guy older and chill. But the food was not good at all. Calamari was obviously frozen tasted like rubber bands. Seasoned fries were mid. Fried wing was also not fresh at all. A $30 sigh

Was in the mood for some seafood, I live in Bayonne so decided to try this place. My girl and I, decided to check it out and eat there. Seafood is best fresh, so that’s what we did. First thing we noticed, the gentleman helping us ( seemed like the owner) made sure the table to was not only clean, but sanitized. This isn’t your average restaurant, it’s a quaint spot only two tables available. More of a takeout vibe.He was very kind and accommodating. We ordered the fish and chips and some fried shrimp! The fish and chips were fresh and good. It was whiting, I would have preferred cod fish, but, it was still good!!! The shrimp were on the salty side but AMAZING. We enjoyed it so much we already made plans to go back again within the month!!

Been ordering from Starfish and Chips for years. Always a solid option, but TODAY?! Horrendous. My chicken cheesesteak sandwich was a joke (pictured here). It was basically bread. The shrimp and fries were cold. Terrible experience today.

Omggg! Super fresh and delicious calamari I’ve ever had! My sis had steamed shrimp and she devoured it in 5 minutes lol! My baby loved her chicken/fries and the fish sandwich was ok. Owner and his Brother were ?? ?
