First time ordering here through GrubHub and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the steak platter (came with steak, onion rings, and asparagus). I called the restaurant just to confirm that I wanted it medium well and asked for a side of A1 sauce. The lady on the phone was so gracious and sweet. When I received my food, I was so surprised at how delicious the steak was. It was well cooked, seasoned, and the asparagus was not soggy or overcooked, it as nice and crispy. The onion rings were yummy and I got my A1 sauce :) overall I will order from here again. No wonder it is a staple here in town.

Great neighborhood tavern. Small bar with a pool table and a backroom with live music on most nights. The pizza is thin crust and everything on the menu is delicious. The waitstaff and bartenders are wonderful.

Wander down to the south End of Bayonne and take a step back in time (building is 100+ years old) . .
Like bars used to be before they got invaded by cell phones. Pool table, police patches from NJ and NY plastered above the bar as well as memorabilia from less complicated times all around - it’s just super laid back. But also a dose of Jersey.
Plenty of beer and liquor (not so much wine). Sandwiches, ultra thin crust bar pie pizza + bar bites.
