This is hands down the worst Wonder Bagels location, even less efficient than the dmv next door. There were flies and various other insects flying around and landing on their uncovered bagels. Waited 15 minutes to order despite there being no other guests in front of me. After I did finally order, I waited another 15 minutes to receive my order which was incorrectly prepared. The bagel wasn’t even up to their usual standards. Would suggest avoiding their subpar food and gross incompetence.
I’ve had some inconsistent experiences at Wonder Bagel over the past two days.
On July 2nd, I ordered a smoothie (mango, pineapple, banana, apple, and spinach). When I tasted it, I realized someone had added peanut butter—which I never asked for. I politely returned it and even wrote the order down to avoid confusion. The second time around, they added ginger instead. At that point, I asked for a refund.
Another young lady stepped in and kindly asked if she could make the smoothie for me. Although I was ready to just leave and get to work, she insisted—and I’m glad she did. She made it perfectly. If you want it done right, ask for Nada. She’s the real MVP.
On July 3rd, I ordered the pancake platter with scrambled eggs and bacon for pickup. Unfortunately, this meal was also a disappointment. The pancakes had a sour taste, almost like they were made with apple juice. The eggs and bacon had a strange taste as well—almost like lighter fluid. I couldn’t even finish the meal.
I really wanted to enjoy my experience here, but back-to-back issues are hard to overlook. I appreciate Nada’s effort and customer service, but the quality control needs some serious work.

This place is disgusting! Everyone has an attitude! They forgot to put my order in and I waited over 30 minutes for a bagel! Recently I placed a pickup order to avoid any mix up and when I arrived my food was waiting on the GROUND! Just disgusting!

My first time here, Wonder Bagels at 1347 Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne, NJ. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and attentive, which is a reason to come back again. Excellent service, and both sandwiches were made exactly the way I ordered them. Thanks, ladies.

Owner was extremely rude. I called because my wrap came without tomato. He claimed it never comes with tomato. I tried explaining that it says tomato on the menu and he used profanity and rude language while telling me I was wrong but I was clearly right.
