I lived in TX for years and was spoiled with amazing smoked BBQ in Driftwood at Saltlick! I was excited to try this place. While I thought the food was abysmal and didn't finish any of my meal, my friend who had no other BBQ references didn't think it was too bad (he'd still never go back though) . Long story short, if you've had authentic BBQ from any region of the states, you're most likely gonna have a disappointing meal here. If you've never had any kind of regional US BBQ you should be alright, but the food isn't great. Disappointing cuz I miss good BBQ so badly!

My husband and I ordered from here tonight and we’re very disappointed. It was not worth the $60 . The smoked meat tasted terrible, it had such a weird taste to it and almost every bite of the pulled pork sandwich that had no sauce, had a lot of fat I couldn’t even get past the third bite without being grossed out. The “ribs” had so many little bones, it was such a hassle to eat. My husband got less than half way through eating the ribs and became frustrated he threw them out. I would not recommend this place.

Loved the tin walls, bartender/ waitress was awesome and she recommended the stuffed grilled cheese with brisket after I asked for stuffed grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, well it didn't disappoint!!! Very very good definitely worth stopping in trying them out....

Had a catering order, 2 days prior to my event they called to tell me they aren’t cooking their own food they have a different company since no one wants to apply for work they have no chefs and because of that will be charging double the cost for the trays. Waiting on the website to update. Very disappointed Spent a great amount of time on the phone placing my order reviewing the prices to find out last minute my order cannot be completed. What bad business!
Placed catering order week in advance for my party, called 2 days before the actual party to bail and inform the price would be double due to the fact they don’t cook the food anymore. Thanks guys for ruining , I guess I will now try to figure out how to feed 70 people myself 2 days before

We absolutely love this place but we called tonight to order food. My husband called and asked when we had to order by for pick up. We were told 10. We called at 8 to order no answer. Go there doors are locked. Not sure why they said 10 if that wasn’t the case. Highly disappointed.

Food is great. Woman answering phone needs to be far removed from customer service. I called to ask a couple of questions about having my Father's Day dinner there with my wife and family. Her attitude was negative and her responses were sarcastic. I will happily spend my time, money and Father's Day elsewhere. She should find an office job where she is not dealing with the public. I hope the business owner reads this review for his sake.

I had ribs polled pork fries and corn, the ribs were so good the polled pork was a little dry. the corn on the cod was cold in the inside.the fries were crunching and tasty. Over all I recommend bills bbq shack.
