I absolutely love the food! When I want a nice home cooked fresh meal this is my go to!
The staff was so nice and the food was soooo good, i had the rotisserie chicken and o wow man. 👌👌👌 10/10 . Also had a jerk chicken empanada woooo spicy but still good good good.
This is our second time having food here. Imwe have not been disappointed yet. Everything was delicious. Portions were great. The service both times were great. Friendly. Even the Owner made conversation with us during our first visit. Was so good thats why we went back a second time and it wont be our last. Definitely recommend all my friends and family to go here

El Gordo Coqui is a restaurant that serves delicious food. The staff is nice, friendly, and kind. The service is great. The restaurant felt like visiting a piece of Puerto Rico. The rotisserie chicken is good. The jerk chicken empanada is spicy but still good. The empanadas are the best, including the mushroom/spinach/cheese, rice/bean/cheese, beef, and chicken ones. The sweet plantains are fantastic. The beef stew, chicken stew, rice, black and red beans, tostones, Chicharron, and a beef and cheese empanada are all delicious. The portions are great. The food smells super good when you pull into the parking lot. Guests are greeted as soon as they walk in, with no waiting or mean looks. Everyone is so kind and friendly, and talking with the staff felt like family. The Owner made conversation during a first visit. This is a gem of a restaurant. It is recommended to friends and family.
