We ordered takeout a number of times and we're never disappointed. Soups and entrees were great. Have never dined inside so cannot speak to the ambience.

Just moved into LBI area stopped by here for lunch. Had a lobster sandwich sandwich which was amazing and it must’ve had lobster from a whole one whole lobster. Also had their clam chowder which is award-winning and it was so good the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere. Great service as well.

New to LBI. Stopped in for lunch our first week here and had a very nice lunch. Had lobster roll sandwich which must've had one whole lobster of meat on it. It was amazing! Also had a crabcake sandwich which looked really good. Had a bowl of clam chowder, it was the best clam chowder that I have ever had! Also took home two bowls of soup. It was so good. Will definitely be going back there. Everybody was nice good service. It was a cozy atmosphere like everybody was one big family. People are all talking together and nice to one another.

Great casual outdoors-ish dining. Lobster Cobb salad was (and continues to be) a huge favorite. Crab dip appetizer was great as well.

Another great experience at the Blue Water Cafe and after at least 5 years of not being able to get down there. The service was given with immense care and joy and the good was prepared beautifully. I'll definitely be back and it won't take so long.

Surprised to see the rating not north of 4. The three of us came around 6 on Labor Day weekend Saturday and were seated right away and were even able to switch seats out of the sun. I had the lobster salad, husband had the mahi mahi and daughter the special lobster ravioli. All was delicious and served after our calamari appetizer. Liked the BYOB aspect. Friendly staff. When we left there Lots of people waiting enjoying wine and cocktails on the outdoor spot designed for diners waiting for a table. Nice LBI vibe.

Our FAVORITE restaurant on the island by far. Have been coming here for years and frequent this establishment over the summer. Brandon is their best server, ask for him! BYOB with a nice patio to wait on for a table to free up. Seating outdoors is great with nice lighting. We have never had an issue with any of the food and everything comes out delicious with large portions. A MUST STOP on the island! Absolut Seafood Pasta is my favorite.

Came here for lunch on a Monday, my last day in LBI. It was a hot day but we sat outside anyway. Anthony was our waiter. I got the fish taco special and my cousin got the avocado club which she has had before. Her sandwich tasted like summer! It was cold and refreshing and light. I loved my fish tacos! They were exactly what I was craving. They came out with the old bay french fries and I had to change that but they corrected the order quickly. The fries were really good- crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Ketchup already on the table. Good solid place.

I was very surprised, have been meaning to try this place for years and I am glad I did. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn't realize is that it is bring your own beer ( they do sell wine by the bottle ). Menu is somewhat limited if you are not into seafood but they have a few other options.

This restaurant is one of my favorites on the island. First, if there's a wait they let you sit outside in a comfy area with wine glasses and a bottle opener provided. Makes the time go by so fast. Second, food is OUTSTANDING. Steaks were cooked perfect, fish was so flavorful and large pieces. I recommend the oyster app and the halibut!
