“Amazing food right on the bay. We bring our boat and park in the public docks. if they are not available polly’s will let you park for a small fee. Polly’s is also good but a different vibe. nowhere near as nice.”
“I LOVE HOLIDAY SNACK BAR! This place has my whole heart. I grew up going here and I never plan to stop. Food is classic, get yourself a burger and a fry and a boost slushie. True classics. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor and everything around is so fun and warming. Staff is great too! I’ll never stop coming here. I love it every single time.”
“Detroit style pizza is hard to find in New Jersey. Try this place! The dough is light and airy even though it's thick. The cheese cooked on the outside is delicious. Only open 2 days a week currently and need to call ahead for ordering but it's worth it. Great quality and unique! We tried each of the current types offered : cheese, pepperoni, and burrata. Everyone had a different favorite but all were great!”
“Great spot to hang out! You can bring in your own food (great sandwich shop downstairs) and they are dog friendly. Laidback atmosphere with TVs playing sports. Lots of beers to choose from (10+) plus a seltzer and frozen slushie. Can purchase 4packs to go if you find a drink you like!”
“If you love chowder, this should be a must stop location for you. This no frills chowder hut is some of the best in the area. Their New England chowder is honestly some of the best I've ever had. Creamy but not too rich and packed with flavor, it would be a sin to skip out on this. Get it in a bread bowl and it's plenty to share! Who could resist the crusty bread and chowder combo. And don't be deterred with its cold out, you can easily get everything to go!”
“We discovered the original location in kind of a "eureka " moment. We LOVE crepes & these are the real, authentic French crepe. They moved to a larger space & each time in Beach Haven, we enjoy! The French couple who own Creperie de la Mar cannot do everything themselves so they hire & train. My French press was lukewarm so I asked for it to be heated. The latte was not as good as before. The crepes were delicious! People who want a quick in & out experience need to go to Wawa, not here & then complain about the wait, especially in season. A very unique & wonderful experience is here if you bring some patience.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options.”
“A small spot with counter service, and a few tables outside. This fairly priced, $21 a lobster roll, spot gives you a healthy serving of lobster both claws and tails on a perfectly toasted buttery roll. They have Maine, CT and Mass choices. They created a new category called Rillaioli, a lobster roll with varying state themed offerings. Check out the Texas. The lobster Mac and cheese was creamy, and didn't skimp on the lobster portion.”
“This Restaurant means so much for my family and I. Ever since the first time that we came here we were hooked! Just alone the atmosphere, the joy and smiles from everyone enjoying the time. An amazing staff that is ready to greet you and cook some really delicious seafood. With good music and drinks what else can you ask for. Thank you for your service, we truly appreciate it. The Padilla Family.”
“Always enjoy eating at The Chicken or the Egg! Famous for the wings, I think they are cooked ahead of time, then slightly reheated and slapped with some sauce when ordered. Not fresh out of the fryer, but still good. Always fun to eat here! Awesome breakfast too! The ultimate omelet is amazing! The biggest fattest wing in the LBI area, including the mainland.”
“Once again Isola did not disappoint! The food, service and ambiance were exceptional! If you have not tried the stuffed olives for an appetizer, they are a MUST! We also shared the fig pizza which was done to perfection! For dinner, my one cousin and I had the Spaghettini a la Arrabbiata ( a new item on the men) and was DELICIOUS! The rest of my family had the Branzino and short ribs which were out of this world! From entering the restaurant, my family and I were greeted enthusiastically ( and with a big smile!) by Bella at the front desk, we were seated promptly and our server Maureen, continued that warm and enthusiastic hospitality once we were seated and that same level of hospitality continued throughout our time dining. This is by far my favorite restaurant on the island! Thank you so much for another fabulous dining experience with exceptional food and service!! We will be back soon!”
“Went to Tuckers on Easter and had the most AMAZING bartender ever John!!! He was so tentative and helpful on food recommendations! Everything from his service to the food was excellent! He is a great asset to this business and we will definitely be returning to see him, he makes delicious drinks and was a pleasure to talk to! Bravo to you John and we look forward to our next visit ??”

“Lovely place to spend Easter brunch greeted warmly by all staff the place was decorated with pansies and roses and candles. Brunch for the two of us, we selected the artichoke soup with poached lobster, the asparagus galette, the lamb shepherds pie, the buckwheat crêpe with ham and egg and for dessert we topped it off with chocolate trifle and toffee carrot cake. The food was phenomenal. The service was excellent. A perfect brunch if there ever was one.”
