“Last year I stopped for ice cream and was so disappointed with my order. We had been going to Jeffreeze for over 22 years. I wrote a negative review that day and heard back from the owner Dennis offering a gift card to be left for me to allow them to correct my order. I have been back several times last year and today marked my 2nd trip for 2024. I have never picked up that gift card I feel it was just a bad day for the person at the counter back last year. Today the ice cream was outstanding as usual, the service perfect.”

“Came here back in 2018-2019 a few times for dine in and takee out, back then the food was a hit or miss but I went again in December 2023 and for St Patricks Day 3/17/24 and the food is on point! I'm impressed! I love all the daily specials I look forward to coming here more often and in the summer too I love the atmosphere by the bar and the caddy area was cool too”

“Lovely place to spend Easter brunch greeted warmly by all staff the place was decorated with pansies and roses and candles. Brunch for the two of us, we selected the artichoke soup with poached lobster, the asparagus galette, the lamb shepherds pie, the buckwheat crêpe with ham and egg and for dessert we topped it off with chocolate trifle and toffee carrot cake. The food was phenomenal. The service was excellent. A perfect brunch if there ever was one.”

“I LOVE HOLIDAY SNACK BAR! This place has my whole heart. I grew up going here and I never plan to stop. Food is classic, get yourself a burger and a fry and a boost slushie. True classics. “Amazing food right on the bay. We bring our boat and park in the public docks. if they are not available polly’s will let you park for a small fee. Polly’s is also good but a different vibe. nowhere near as nice.”

“Everything about this place is amazing! Delicious, fresh, healthy food, chill atmosphere, awesome staff. I've been coming here for years since being vegan and have brought many of my non-vegan friends and family members and they love it too! The owners and staff are very sweet and personable, the food and service never disappoint! My boyfriend has celiac disease so he's extremely sensitive to gluten and very cautious to trust places without a dedicated GF kitchen, but he's never had any issue eating here and the staff always takes care of us! Extremely grateful to have this place! Cannot say enough positive words.”

“I walked in today, not really understanding the level of quality, other then the reviews that I read online.When I walked in, the feel of a nostalgic, old fashioned diner rung my mind, and I was greeted by two incredibly courteous professional and personable waitresses.I explained that I was getting food for a number of people at Seacrest Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, when one of the waitresses, kindly came over to me, with such an amazing heart and mind, explained and offered to me, the possibility of building a hoagie tray, when I just didn't know what to get.I can't overly suggest and recommend the deli-restaurant, along with the staff, because the final outcome couldn't have even been anybetter!!!!So thank you, to the entire staff, for EVERYTHING that what you gave me, along with our family, during this challenging timeTake care and continue the amazing work!SincerelyChris Weber”

“Best pizza in the Barnegat/Manahawkin area hands down! Ordered a regular pie and Sicilian and they both were delicious!! Not greasy at all and so fresh when we picked up. Service was friendly also! Highly recommend.”

“Detroit style pizza is hard to find in New Jersey. Try this place! The dough is light and airy even though it's thick. The cheese cooked on the outside is delicious. Only open 2 days a week currently and need to call ahead for ordering but it's worth it. Great quality and unique! We tried each of the current types offered : cheese, pepperoni, and burrata. Everyone had a different favorite but all were great!”

“Wide selection of burgers. Of course, I get the chicken sandwich. Doesn't come with fries, they have to be ordered separately, but there is a selection to choose from like boardwalk to old bay crab fries. You order at the counter and have a seat with the number you're given. Even before I sat down, they came out with my food. Everything was tasty. Half of our party went home with milkshakes. They recommend the chocolate covered strawberry shake. Staff was great, very friendly! There is a small parking lot available on site.”

“What a hidden gem!! Breakfast and lunch only, but quite an array of choices (4 types of Eggs Benedict to Lobster Roll, salads platters, pancakes, etc.). You will not leave hungry. Portions are plentiful. If you are having 6 or more people on a weekend or holiday,, make sure to reserve a table or you will be waiting. Also a small bar. Outdoor dining and drinks in season. This is now the new go-to place for family gatherings. Dock side service for boats, too.”

“Impressed with the quality of the fresh food. Everything in the deli case looked fresh! I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich with vodka sauce and ricotta. It was really good. The bread was excellent and the cutlet was really big. The sandwich is huge. I also got some rolls and Irish soda bread to go and a cappuccino. The Irish soda bread was excellent. The rolls were soft on the inside but the outside was a bit tough. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. They have an area outside to eat there that is enclosed and heated in the colder months.”

“The best Mexican food in the area. I usually order via DoorDash, this was my first time being in the restaurant, the atmosphere is beautiful, and very clean. The food is quality first, quantity second. The only complaint I have is the food was too inexpensive for the amount I got. ?”

“Definitely one of the top restaurants in Manahawkin/LBI area. My pasta dish was amazing, and service was great. Only downside to this place is it’s not huge and they don’t take reservations. We lucked out and got a front parking spot and table fairly quick. They also have a cool little outside area with a drink truck and a fire pit. This makes the waiting part a lot more bearable (keep in mind we only waited about 15-20 mins anyway). Overall, great experience. Certainly a spot you should try this summer if you’ve never been.”
